Marxists are horrible miserable people who believe that if they make everyone else as miserable as they are. Their delusional belief is if they destroy our current society, and the right people (them) are in charge, it will lead to a utopia free from "oppression".
Culture/entertainment creates a shared experience so it reinforces and perpetuates the current "oppressive system". It has to be subverted so that instead of making people happy and bringing people together it makes them pissed off at each other.

Consumerism has already replaced Christianity. However, digital media threatens the underlying concept of consumerism so it must forcibly be poisoned or the old will compete with the new.

I don't think it will. I think it will be highly effective. When all that you see is progressive ideology, anyone saying anything else starts to sound odd and unusual, suspect. Young children will grow up and into this progressive ideology without even realizing they are adopting the ideology as their own.

So that utopia can be rebuilt from the ashes of the old. Where people are equal in every way, and that equality is upheld through a constant awareness about the forces of inequity. I.e. the mental load will forever increase until the ideology consumes every waking thought - and in return we will have acheved material parity.
Everything that comes after "destroy everything" is murky however. And it's not at all clear how competing interests will harmonize, even if the laws were true, which of course they are not.
It's why true believers are so miserable, hateful, sadistic, vengeful, angry, full of rage and suffering to the core. It's by design. They're fully in the grips of the ideology, and have reached the endstage of marxist ideological posession.

Russia and China skipped democracy. They were still in feudalism when they had their first big industrial-capable political-revolution. There are some great answers in this thread, but I wanted to bring up something else. One of the foundational philosophies of the globalists/woke/SJW crowd is affirmative action. This means they're antithetical to merit.
Merit is essential for all good and stable communities, regardless of size. The moment merit is removed the community begins to degrade and will inevitably collapse. (obviously not "free thinking" movements) On the right this usually comes in the form of religious movements but the left is almost always secular communist (which I'd argue is its own religion but that's another argument).

These institutions can then work together to create a sense of false public support and pressure for policy decisions directed by Fabians. This is the top structure of what I refer to as the Social Justice Racket.
Wealthy corporations and individuals are actually more susceptible to the racket because they will come under regulatory burden (which is set by the Fabians), and will require massive capital investment (which is given by Fabians), in order to continue functioning. These wealthy corporations are then required to push policy set by their investors or regulators, which are very woke. PR & Advertising basically have to make a massive propaganda push to make it work, and normally it fails terribly and huge amounts of money are lost. However, every analysis of the failure will be externalized to anything else: racist fans, misogynistic gamers, conservative media, Trump, whatever.
As a result, the entertainment media company is stuck in a bind. In order to get financing for entertainment, they have to produce woke garbage because that's the only thing that will get funded. Everyone advises them that this will only make money. When it doesn't, everyone else will be blamed, and they will be instructed to try again. Best of all, if they need more money, they just get more financing to produce more tripe. That makes them more indebted to the Fabian financial machine.
There is no feedback mechanism in these corporations to get them to stop.

My understanding is that we train each new generation in our culture through our use of mass media. This is how we train children now about what is right and wrong, what they should believe, and how they should make decisions. They emulate what they watch on TV: cartoons, situational comedies, dramas. We present situations, we present how "normal people" react in those situations. We replay this over and over until the children learn what is expected from them.
ALL TV must train children to be good progressives. No counter-programming voice can be allowed if the programming and conditioning is to fully take hold in their mind.
