The real clown world thing is a person doesn't have to be a fancy academic to look at these case charts and find the Kenosha riots (or more accurately two weeks after the Kenosha riots). It's literally the only event that clearly shows up in charts and even then it quickly dropped back and was swamped by the fall cases.
I keep saying that it was clear that covid wasn’t the biblical plague they wanted it to be. The hypocrisy in reporting is all the proof people should need. And facts like the ones you have. They honestly want you to believe that thousands of ppl didn’t spread anything

And the huge disproportionate amount of cases is in Minnehaha county, not Meade, where the rally happened. A county that is in fact on the opposite side of the fucking state to where the rally happened.
Mind you, that probably has more to do with population density than anything, Minnehaha is the most populated county while Meade is all small-town. But still.
Meade county has gone from 4 new cases a day to 15 new cases a day... I... suppose that's a four-fold increase, sure. Still makes the headline wrong... And not exactly an apocalypse in either case.

You'd have to focus on Laurence, Meade, Custer and Fall River Counties mainly as that's how far the rally really spreads.
