Biden said he was running again in 2024. This is the deep state making sure that cannot happen so they're able to select their new puppet. If you're surprised you haven't been paying attention

Terrain is fairly cheap to make without 3d printing. Hills can be carved from polystyrene (24 sqft for ~$10 at a Home Depot). Cut some blocks, stack them roughly to the right height, and then just cut off some of the sharp edges. Coat in PVA glue so you can give it some primer, paint and cover in the model flock of your choice as you would for your dudes' bases. Works for craters too. Back in the day when you could get free AOL CDs, they worked great as a base for craters. Buildings can be made from thin cardboard, cereal boxes, etc.

Aquarium scenery is fairly cheap from the pet store and roughly the right scale. Some neat tropical plastic plants in the aquarium section too. If you've got a general hobby/crafts store, like the kind that sells model trains etc, they generally have model terrain that's reasonably priced, good for getting a bunch of trees on a card base for forests.

These niggas didn't learn from the US 2 years ago. Go all the way or don't bother, because you'll be ruined as if you went all the way and failed

Steam's year in review tells me I spent half my time on DOTA2. Honestly amazed it's that much because I thought I had quit it finally.

Other than that played through the Destroy All Humans remake, a bunch of OpenRTC, 3 chapters into Higurashi When They Cry, and Slay the Spire as my background time-killer. Also maybe 1/3rd to halfway through Ookami, been great on the steam deck.

Don't think I've played anything new other than FFXIV Endwalker. Blind progging the raid tiers and made it to the final phase of the current tier but probably still a month off of a clear.

Gifted Chivalry 2 and Persona 5 for Christmas so excited to give those a try, P5 after I finish Ookami and maybe I play P4 first.

Favorite to hear once a year is The Little Drummer Boy. It does get old fast though. Silent Night is also up there.

Least favorite is Christmas Shoes and a lot of the real commercial pop ones. Also despite my love of the Beach Boys, I don't really like Little Saint Nick

I skipped most of the sequels this season for not watching the prior seasons. Exception was Uzaki-san which I skipped because I thought S1 was pretty mediocre compared to the manga. And Spy x Family but that was a continuation rather than S2, highly recommend.

Chainsaw Man is very good, went in blind and won't read the manga til the season's over.

Do It Yourself is a CGDCT show, which you either like or hate that kind of slice of life. The girls are cute and I like the sort of near-future world hiding in the background of the show. Uncle Ted would not approve of Purin

Bocchi the Rock gets a lot of comparison to K-On, but other than cute high school girls making a band they're fairly different. Bocchi is more comedy focused rather than SoL imo. Quite enjoy this one and the manga.

Isekai Ojisan is a must watch. Seems low budget imo but they make fantastic use of every dollar, and it's hilarious as a parody/deconstruction of the usual isekai schlock.

Urusei Yatsura is good. Haven't seen the original but from what I've heard from others seems fairly respectful to the OG. You can also tell its an older story because instead of the protag running from the anime grills like a fag, he wants every grill, except Lum for some reason. Lum is life

Gav Thorpe and Graham McNeill have been two of the more consistent Black Library authors in my opinion

Dan Abnett too

Cavill will care but literally not one other person in the show's production will.

The best we can hope for is a behind-the-scenes photo of Cavill crying in front of a green screen wondering where it all went wrong like Ian McKellen
