The real issue at the end of the day was that Sony willfully listed the game on Steam in regions that cannot (without breaking ToS) create a PSN account. Even if the account linking requirement was supposed to be in from the start and only got kicked down the road due to server issues, Sony created a shitstorm largely because of how widely listed the game was. Arrowhead isn't to blame for that aspect at the very least, because the reason studios opt for a publisher is to manage logistics, like where to sell the game.
To be fair with The Three Shadows, it is technically more accurate to the Japanese script than the original English localization. Similar to SMRPG, at least some of the script changes look to make things more similar to the original script, such as Hooktail hating "frogs" (Japanese and English remake script) rather than "crickets" (original English script).
Not trying to defend DEI bullshit creeping its way into remakes and remasters, because I have no explanation for the other script changes being made and nowhere near enough knowledge of Japanese to dig through the script.
I was a similar case as your older nephew. I couldn't sit still in elementary school, and teachers would bring up that I fidgeted a lot to my parents. At some point the school wanted to put me on meds. My parents told them to fuck off. As I grew older and classes began teaching things I didn't already know or couldn't grasp instantly (and was interested in learning) I was fairly calm and attentive.
I am forever thankful that my parents saw sense that I was probably just bored in school and were adamantly against the idea of fucking me up with meds.
I was not aware the graphical update was not globally applied. That should really make one wonder why certain regions got the uglification update and others didn't. Hopefully some normies wake up from it.
Capcom has wanted to charge you to recreate your character appearance since at least Monster Hunter World, all the way back in 2018.
It's mostly a bunch of indie crap. Taking a quick look at the companies listed, some of them have the following games that might be notable:
Boneloaf - Gang Beasts
Poncle - Vampire Survivors
Raw Fury - Cassette Beasts These guys have a bunch of stuff that I've never heard of, website here
Robot Teddy - this is another consulting firm with many of the same companies listed as this Richie guy, website here
VAF - a Belgian government funded investment body for video games, movies, and television, website here
Innersloth - Among Us
SFB Games - Snipperclips They similarly have a bunch of other stuff on their website I haven't heard of
The other companies I didn't mention (Triband, Pontoco, Yogscast) all seem to have incredibly niche or underwhelming games. Dutch Game Garden is some kind of Dutch non-profit organization to support indie devs.
Video has been removed by the uploader. Did something happen?
I recall Julian Assange saying gamergate and the biased and corrupt gaming media was but a microcosm of the whole journalist media industry at large. In some ways gamergate did in fact wake people up to the full blown leftist takeover of the west.
Even better, find an ISO of the PC version of FF7 and you can install all kinds of mods to make it not look like a horrendously outdated game. 7th Heaven makes things pretty easy https://7thheaven.rocks/
I fully agree with you. There isn't any sexualization going on in the instances I've seen where Nexusmods still removed decensorship mods of any underaged (or perceived underaged) characters.
I've noticed Nexusmods has been taking down uncensorship mods of underage female characters for a little while now. It's not even like people are trying to make these characters nude, they just want to get rid of the BS censorship practices being forced upon us and respect the original design intent of a character.
Fuck Nexusmods.
The supposed reason is that the second part of FF7R this week censored the outfit that this patch also censors, to maintain consistency.
If you liked Digimon World 1 (I'm assuming this is the PS1 DW you are referring to), Next Order is the closest thing to it mechanically. Same combat and similar gameplay mechanics, being a virtual pet manager/battler basically. You have two digimon partners instead of one. The translation as I remember it was fine, I definitely don't recall anything as atrocious as Cyber Sleuth off the top of my head.
There is another game that is similar to DW1 and Next Order, called Digimon World Re;Digitize for the PSP, and an enhanced version called Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode on the 3DS. Neither of these were released in english, but there are complete fan translations for both versions of the game and I would recommend playing through this at some point.
Similar deal here. I tried out for hockey in high school, was very clearly outclassed and could never make the team, yet my mother would bitch at me for not being active and not being in a sport in school. There would have been no way for me to reasonably reach a level where I could have made the team without climbing to higher regional hockey leagues, and by the time I would have climbed high enough to have a chance I would have been out of high school anyways.
At the end of the day, sports is recreational to me. I didn't want to invest the ungodly amount of time to be good enough to make a school team, I just wanted some fun exercise on the side.
Overall, the graphics in the remake are great. I want these graphics with the gameplay of the original, because the remake's action combat is abysmally lackluster and the graphics in the original (specifically the 3D models for the characters in the world) look terrible.
Because it is now at the point where localizers have wormed their way into being directly involved with the game design process and telling the game devs to preemptively censor shit, affecting even the original Japanese versions of video games.
My grandfather, who is close to 90, is currently in a year long wait to see a specialist to assess the health of his brain. Not that he is doing badly or anything, but at such an age things can go from perfectly fine and livable to being thrown on your deathbed in a matter of days.
I recently waited several hours to see a doctor for an issue I've had recently, who basically just told me to take some drugs and didn't think to refer me to get scans done or think it was anything more serious than something that will pass in a few days. If this problem in fact does not get resolved, I'm going to have to spend another several hours again to see a doctor to get a referral, and deal with that entire process of waiting my turn in line.
Canada is an absolutely atrocious example of socialized health care. There are other countries that aren't this bottom of the barrel and function to at least some degree, but because both American and Canadian leftists have an NA-centric view of the world, you generally only ever hear leftists try to sing praise of Canada's health care system.
If there is one thing Canadians love more than anything else, it is claiming moral superiority over the US in terms of health care. It is ingrained in almost every Canadian that our health care system is supposed to be better in every way to the US, and so Canadians love to take every opportunity to virtue signal about matters relating to health care to "flex" on the US.
The only other explanation is the Liberals bankrolling the media and trying to scare people to keep their prime faggot in power.
Gay black furry who cosplays female characters. I highly advise not looking up his actual twitter account.
Playing evil in BG3 is not at all well designed. In most cases, it just results in less content and less rewards. Part of this is because many evil decisions the game lets you make just involve being a murderhobo. You get the occasional dialogue where you can be a dick to force a reward out...but from my experience most of the time you get the same rewards for not doing that as well.
I have no idea who the lesbian priestess of Selune is. The only Selune priestess I can think of was the one making the magic light dome, and she didn't have any love interest that I saw at the inn before she died.
They make this very clear and very obvious at the resolution of act 2 if she and her lover survive. They will join your camp for the rest of the game whether you want them to or not.
Trying to hide something from a child's parents is one of the most basic acts of grooming, simple as that.
They are absolutely a bigger danger to you than a male cop would be in just about any given situation,. Women know they are weaker, and will absolutely resort to whipping out a taser or firearm if they feel remotely threatened in a situation.
For any NPCs throughout the game that have mentioned or hinted at being in a relationship, I think I've come across maybe 3 straight couples total compared to what feels like a dozen gay ones, and a 4th straight couple that breaks up in front of you for the woman to run off with her lesbian lover. At some point all this shit just feels flat out unbelievable, because in no way could the population sustain itself if 75% of the population was gay. This is including part of act 3 so far. This point has been souring my experience of the game more than anything else.
I've also come across a "female" shorty race (forget if dwarf, halfling, or gnome because I wasn't paying that much attention) with a beard and a female VA, but so far this is the only one, and they were basically a useless throwaway NPC.
It doesn't matter, the government would back this decision.
