JK Rowling told Alan Rickman Snapes character arc before filming the first movie and had him promise to keep it secret which lead to some arguments with directors with Rickman because he knew Snapes motivations but was sworn to secrecy.
I don’t think the HBO writers had nothing to go by. I think they were given an outline to the final 2 books but the show runners at the time had a Disney Star Wars offer and they needed this wrapped up. So they combined 2 unfinished books into 2 shorter seasons.
And we all saw how that turned out
I bought all of them almost ten years ago and was going through them at a fairly good pace. About halfway through storm of swords and I realized that he’s been working on winds of winter for over a decade at that point, and thought what’s the point. he clearly has no plans to finish the story so why should I keep reading just to be left with a cliffhanger when he dies. It’s not like he is taking care of himself.
Or he let the show catch up with him because he felt his ending was not very good compared to the groundwork he made in the early books, so to test and find out he gave them his outline of how it might end. And everyone hated it and he has no clue how to finish it. The logical answer is make a happier ending, but that’s the antithesis of his philosophy so he can’t do that
If they are going to actively go against the will of the Floridian people then they don’t deserve it. What are they going to do? Move magic kingdom and the rest of their parks to another state that’s warm all year round and place it on a parcel of land the size of a small town that’s closer for people living in the east coast than Disneyland?
Especially since it’s not shown in game….. also how great of an idea for a species on the verge of extinction to choose to live the one way that doesn’t procreate.

She also got called out for not coming up with the name Rivet herself. Any normal person would be black balled from the industry after dragging your previous employers every couple of months, especially how frequently she changes jobs. And shouting “Lombax Tiddies” every time the character design gets brought up is the workplace equivalent of a temper tantrum for not getting your way in a previous meeting.
With this lady that’s probably true, but I know some people personally who were good parents whose children have made some truly awful decisions as soon as they became adults that their parents are not responsible for. And they claimed they felt that way as kids just never mentioned it back then. I don’t believe they were that way as children since I knew them quite well, and the sudden change started happening when they went to college and started seeing a “therapist” at student health.
Kind of curious how they plan to do that other than donating heavily in Florida politics. And then I imagine that this bill passing was something the Republican voters in Florida wanted. The other option is to relocate a significant amount of their staff to Florida. But given the fit Disney imagieering is throwing about that I doubt a substantial amount would move.
I haven’t been in many fight, but I know if you hit someone in the face like that and there head doesn’t move at all / no stumbling, then you have seriously screwed up and better hope they don’t want to waste their time with you.
