While any step towards sanity is welcome, the standard for 'basedness' cannot me "doesn't want to groom 9-year-olds into gender confusion and homosexuality".

True. But DeSantis is willing to stand up to the pedophile commies on this topic, and I'd argue that separately qualifies him for basedness (at least compared to most), especially since we've seen a number of supposedly right wing governors veto similar bills. This guy is the real deal and he's by far my favorite of possible 2024 contenders.

I hope he doesn't run for president in 2024. We still need him in Florida and I think he can actually do more as governor. Showing that a state will not tolerate this shit sets a good example for other states. Even if other "based" current governors are too cowardly to do anything now it shows voters that it's possible to elect someone who will actually do something.

As someone with little faith left in politicians, I'd advise people who are keeping the faith not to become over invested in them. If you want keep DeSantis or anyone doing good things, you have to apply constant pressure on them and be willing to ruin their careers if they get too pozzed. They are there to server you, not be celebrities.

Very true. It's a sad state of affairs.

Could we apply the inverse of that to the feminist debate?

Like: "I dont want to rape women" "Progressive"

Progressives don't even meet that standard though.

More than six in 10 Americans oppose legislation that would prohibit classroom lessons about sexual orientation or gender identity in elementary school, a recent ABC News/Ipsos poll found.

Bullshit. Their polling group was 60% pedos.

And reported by a Disney owned “news outlet”

I wouldn't be surprised if they worded this issue in a certain way as well

In classic lunatic commie fashion

It isn't lunacy when it works. Sadly.

Polls (and social media to an even greater degree) are designed to influence public opinion, not reflect it.

Now we need one in every state.

Then actual "dont say gay" laws.

Then RWDS.

literally 100% refuse to answer because they oppose "a law" that doesn't exist. nothing even mentions gender identity or sexual orientation in the law. it simply says no sex education for children age 8 and under without parental consent. it's plainly anti-pedophilia.

the only people complaining about this law are literal pedophiles...

When I was a kid they started teaching us about puberty and reproduction in Grade 5, and honestly it seemed unnecessarily soon.

And now lefties want to teach kindergarteners sodomy. Like... good fucking god. Innocence should be protected, not violated.

Now do election fraud, DeSantis. Investigate and prosecute 2020.

Kind of curious how they plan to do that other than donating heavily in Florida politics. And then I imagine that this bill passing was something the Republican voters in Florida wanted. The other option is to relocate a significant amount of their staff to Florida. But given the fit Disney imagieering is throwing about that I doubt a substantial amount would move.

And they apparently are making a sequel to The Full Monty.

Part of me wants it to be a troonfest or all woman remake so the film can be referred to as 'The Full Munter'

Not sure but Texas does have something to that extent, you need to be older before being put thru therapy so it gives puberty a chance first, this alone helps boys 80-90% of the time.

The part I can actually support is what most are rallying against, this is why I have no faith in republicans. It would have been easier and a lot more efficient to just back off the entire trans in sports issue. Not be pro or con, simply avoid it.
