Not in Junior College, a junior in college. A third year student.

Still correct that they aren't studying to be a doctor (they'd be doing some form of pre-med), but otherwise your assessment seems to be correct (including that it's probably a troll post.)

The rainbow flag isn't a symbol of homosexuality, it's a symbol of homosexual activism. Perhaps it is not what the author of the comic intended (I highly doubt it), but this comic depicts a church rejecting a homosexual activist entering a church, being rejected, and "jesus" then leaving the church.

There's a line between "Hey weirdo! Knock that off!" and what is essentially ritual murder. I think it's incredibly dishonest to put both things under the same heading of "bullying".

Matthew 18:5-6

5 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. (emphasis mine)

Guess they wanted to leave out the context there, huh?

The level 5 flexible armor that everyone makes their suits out of doesn't bother me as much as the multi-story falls or pedestrian collisions with vehicles causing no signs of injury, but none of these are particularly realistic

And I'm still pissed that the Adjudicator wasn't played by Carrie-Ann Moss (Trinity from The Matrix.) And yeah, a scene where she takes a bullet (probably at the hands of the Marquis) would have been nice.

The first one works extremely well as its own thing. The second movie sets up a bunch of stuff that doesn't get resolved until the fourth film. The tone also changes quite a bit from what I'd call a grounded action film to be quite a bit more over-the-top, which is a bit jarring at times.

I like all four movies, and can't find much to complain about outside the middle of the second and third (barring the aforementioned shift in tone.) If you like over-the-top action and violence, I'd highly recommend the rest of the series. If that's not your style, I'd suggest sticking with the first.

I wanted to like "Nobody," but I don't think there was enough explanation behind him to make his actions make sense.

Much of John Wick (particularly in the third and fourth films) is tributes to older films/genres. Nobody, in particular, seems to be referencing Westerns (see his use of a lever action) and the "Mysterious Stranger" archetype there. In fact, his name is an apparent reference to a particular film, My Name is Nobody.

Good Samaritan laws are explicitly designed to remove liability from people who stop to provide aid in good faith, not make you an accessory if you refuse to assist.

Can we see this as a per-capita measure? That might reveal some interesting data points.

Rackets didn't have a deal with Rumble until this year, though they were in talks for a good chunk of last year.

The only game I recall it struggling slightly with recently was Elden Ring.

This is probably a CPU issue related to their anti-cheat software. I got my hands on a 3080ti, and I noticed framerate issues in several games. For Elden Ring, once I disabled the Anti-Cheat it was golden.

I'll be impressed when ChatGPT/GPT-X can make a game for which you can't just pull example code off the internet.

You mean the death penalty? That was a possible sentence for all felonies when the country was founded. Granted, there were only a half-dozen or so felonies back then...

This conversation came up on a YouTube stream I was watching several months back, and a Jewish Youtuber on the panel said "I think it would be awesome if there was a sports team called 'The Fighting Kikes'." And I've seen several people of various ethnicities who disagree that "X sports team/portrayal is racist", so I don't think it's as much your race/ethnicity, but more how willing you are to interpret a portrayal as positive/negative (which is going to lean away from lefties with a victim mentality.)

At least CoD gives some new gameplay with each new game. Sports games are essentially $60+ balance patches.

Thrawn trilogy starring Jeffery Combs

Ah, fuck, another fantastic thing that could have happened that Disney has ruined.

For context on this if you didn't read the twitter thread: https://nitter.nl/Aristos_Revenge/status/1622858978014248960#m

I suspect the statistic is close to accurate, but "project rainbow" and "NAAS" sound like unverifiable claims made by a conspiracy theory website that made it into the training data.
