We have a new ruleset now, so we are looking to invite people back who were banned for violating the old rules, but would be OK under the new rules.
Unfortunately, as some of you have read, the list of bans is mostly filled with sock accounts that hate Dom or pedo pajeet alts (those are thankfully pretty obvious because they're all from anime he watched). This makes it difficult to sort out if anyone should be unbanned because there are 40 pages of this stuff. We could just unban everyone and start from scratch, but for obvious reasons I don't think that would be advisable.
The only name I can think of at the moment is trump4045, since he was banned for some political thing that wasn't allowed under the old rules. Can anyone think of anyone else?

Given how difficult it was to get perma'd under DoM, no one should be unbanned. After all, I was only up to an 8 day ban or so for bullshit rule 2 violations.
Dom would drop a permaban in an instant if a poster mentioned what was going on in Weimar Germany. I saw it happen multiple times.

Not all of them. But I'm sure Dom thought they were new due to not recognizing their names since he rarely ever participated in threads himself to see who was actually posting around here.

I really doubt that. It's just that whoever supports a regime that comes after a given regime tries to blacken the name of what came before.
Most of the criticisms of Weimar make little sense and are made by people who don't know what they're talking about. That said, the fact that Weimar went from one crisis to another to its demise being cheered by most people shows what a disaster it was.
Unless you were unlucky enough to still have a newish account when you first got caught up in his horseshit. That would land you permaban as a "brigand" or whatever he was calling it. Doubt it would be worth trying to dig through the log for such cases though. Those users are either long gone or on an alt.

That's fine if the gatekeeper is acting in good faith. Problem is DOM wasn't, so it was mostly the kind of shit a lot of us were getting dinged for. He had plenty of mercy for handshakes like the pajeet though.

I remember that trump4045 user. Didn't realize he was banned. I'd be cool with unbanning him assuming he didn't do anything outrageous (and knowing DOM he probably didn't). Kinda funny how Imp's inability to control himself killed any chance he might have had right before the changeover. Otherwise I'm not aware of any regulars that got permabanned. DOM's main target was newer users to stop the community from growing. He liked using regulars as pinatas which meant permabans of regulars were rare.
What did he do?
I caught several suspensions for "Rule 2" violations, but it's been a while since then. Last one was for weeks, iirc, so I don't know if Dom kept a list, or something...

Well, they only made their alts to try to get around the bans, and one of them is still posting here. Given that the reasons they were kicked don't apply anymore, it doesn't make sense to keep their accounts banned.
But if their new alts are already posting here, why allow their old alts to vote/comment on anything here?

No one should be unbanned. Those bannings took forever and were beyond deserved.

Thanks. Looking at CrusaderPepe's profile, yeah, he seems a little tunnel visioned/off topic. It seems kind of harsh to keep him on a perma but if he's just going to post extremely focused Catholic theological studies then he'd probably end up in the same place.

Why though? We're not pretending this sub has maintained the whole 'being about truth in media/anti-woke geek culture' thing for well over a year or two right, if not much much longer given the whole half-kia split was in large part about kia trying to stay too focused to just being about truth in media and video games.
What actually is this board's ostensible real topic? Because I see several general right leaning current news stories, several more jew-sperging threads, and so on for every one topic that is about video games, GG, or other nerd hobbies. I hope I'm not the only one who recognizes we've gone in the complete opposite direction to where this sub doesn't even have a specific topic.
