edit: full list of banned usernames is in the comments.
We have a new ruleset now, so we are looking to invite people back who were banned for violating the old rules, but would be OK under the new rules.
Unfortunately, as some of you have read, the list of bans is mostly filled with sock accounts that hate Dom or pedo pajeet alts (those are thankfully pretty obvious because they're all from anime he watched). This makes it difficult to sort out if anyone should be unbanned because there are 40 pages of this stuff. We could just unban everyone and start from scratch, but for obvious reasons I don't think that would be advisable.
The only name I can think of at the moment is trump4045, since he was banned for some political thing that wasn't allowed under the old rules. Can anyone think of anyone else?
current list of unbans:
edit: Graphenium has raised the problem of enabling vote manipulation by unbanning multiple alts, so that is likely off the table.
edit: SNES_X said he is OK with continuing to post under his current account.
edit: the following users will be unbanned today
- theunpopular1
theimpossible5this account said he was OK with staying banned in another sub, and hasn't posted in 4 months- IGOexiled
- RealWildRanter
- KyleIsThisTall
XBX_XPSX_X- trump4045

Why though? We're not pretending this sub has maintained the whole 'being about truth in media/anti-woke geek culture' thing for well over a year or two right, if not much much longer given the whole half-kia split was in large part about kia trying to stay too focused to just being about truth in media and video games.
What actually is this board's ostensible real topic? Because I see several general right leaning current news stories, several more jew-sperging threads, and so on for every one topic that is about video games, GG, or other nerd hobbies. I hope I'm not the only one who recognizes we've gone in the complete opposite direction to where this sub doesn't even have a specific topic.
Yeah, it's basically morphed into a general purpose right-winger gamer hangout. Probably at least partially because c/Gaming collapsed from mod shenanigans.
The sub is still oriented around censorship. A lot of the discussion revolves around the left's (and now the right's) speech controls and propaganda. It's now expanded further into the right wing/left wing topic because the whole struggle over games/art/nerd culture is downstream from that. For example, if Donald Trump hadn't won the last election then there's a decent chance that communities.win would have been shut down or brought into line, along with Twitter.
Still, there is a coherent userbase - people into nerdy stuff - and 95% of us don't even have the vocabulary to parse the Catholic theology in that dude's videos.
