Despite all of the messaging and propaganda to convince everyone that up is down, it is still almost exclusively men who risk their lives for others. Women in media pretend to be brave and competent and heroic, but our observable reality is that 99% of such people are male. Women only excel when they are protected from male competency, typically in the form of special rules.
Everyone knows this, but we are forced to pretend otherwise. We are forced to pretend that women are every bit as capable and heroic as men when we have nonstop modern examples of the exact opposite. And that’s what demoralizes and infuriates so many of us. Our gender is routinely blamed for every evil in existence while our good deeds are misattributed to the very people who slander us.
