Good for them for learning from mistakes. Most companies double down on woke after it’s failed.
Don’t worry I’m sure when the troons see this and screech Jaguar will release a statement say it wasn’t the over the top gayversity but the “direction” the company wants is something different

That's exactly what happened with Hallmark.
I remember people trying to make sense out of it and the ad agency responded with nonsense like “stay tuned” or “the future”. I imagined a parody of corporate morons spouting out buzz words devoid of meaning. They’ve no idea what they are doing but it looks very unique, because it’s very ugly.
I thought they were gonna reveal its a joke eventually. A parody of bad advertising campaigns. Then they do the real one.

This part was actually more insane than the ad itself to me. Random woke shit and making your logo more generically corporate is probably the single most trend following thing they could have done, and he's saying it's about not being like everyone else.

That Jaguar commercial didn't even have a car in it. At least this one showed a car doing tight turns in extreme scenarios.
Also, I have no idea, but the only times I've ever seen 90 second commercials are on Youtube years after release, was it some kind of cable thing? or they were for shows and marketing vanity projects for awards?

Here's an ad White dude goes to his garage. Walks past various animals and cars. Like a chicken on a pontiac firebird, a horse standing next to a mustang. Then he gets into his car and seated next to him is a jaguar. He pulls out of his garage and now the Jaguar is a hot white woman. Tagline, "why choose anything but the apex."
