I knew black fatigue was coming with entertainment starting in 16. Especially with period pieces. Same with black fatigue there is lgbt fatigue (I think I saw a chart where acceptance level dropped). Also how many times have you seen a movie with a female lead and decided to watch something else?

Death Wish. The 1974 version.
It's a good film in and of itself but the movie reveals the zeitgeist of the times. An era in which the citizenry has had to live through what was at the time a three decade long crime wave largely driven by blacks. It is a movie about just going out into the streets of New York at night and shooting black men, and genuinely being able to have supreme confidence that whomever you shot was a violent criminal.
This is the cultural frame of mind that gave rise to the Biden Crime Bill. It is the cultural frame of mind that resulted in nearly a quarter of all adult men in the nation being Klan members at one time.
It is the cultural frame of mind that is rapidly rebuilding itself right now in front of us.
Every single white person that I know and associate with, is what would be called a "racist" twenty years ago. Even by themselves in many cases.

Sadly I’m seeing what you are seeing. I’m glad I grew up in Oklahoma and since getting out of the Air Force, Texas suburbs. I do remember the culture shock when visiting my grandfather who lived in the inner city (once nice neighborhood that had deteriorated badly) and seeing people in their 20s and 30s just sitting around on weekdays. I was so used to seeing people going to work where I grew up I didn’t realize there was a whole other world out there.

I think only the worst real racists would blame you or any other normal black people. It would be like blaming American whites for Soviet Russia or Hitler.
I think a lot of people are just becoming less charitable in their interactions in that they don't just automatically assume someone is a good person. Which should be the default anyways. We've been so unrealistically peaceful in the world for decades.

The reality is 9 times out of 10 you can take a look at someone, see how they're dressed, and how they present themselves, and their demeanor, and understand almost immediately what kind of person they are no matter the race.
Some races in some countries or regions are more likely to be the kind you don't want to be charitable towards, where I live there's plenty of backwoods retard whites I wouldn't want to be around or associate with. Dangerous and just plain stupid.

The problem is that as the situation deteriorates further and further we no longer have the luxury of getting to know someone before judging them, so all we have to go by is immediate visual indicators. Until you get to know an individual you have to judge them based on the group and man there are a lot of bad apples out there spoiling it for everyone else.
Becoming a Low Trust Society is something that makes me sick to my stomach and is probably the most distressing reality I will have live through aside from losing friends and family.

I actually considered being a cop after I got out of the military but decided not to. Guess that was good considering what is going on today. I’d only want to be a cop in Mayberry.
I live about 25 miles away from where Austin Metcalf was murdered and it’s crazy to see people supporting the murderer. At the very least just say I’ll wait to see how the case goes.

The reverse in my case. I thought about going into law enforcement, I even have a decent amount of forensic investigation experience. Decided not to, got a sniff of something I didn't like and decided to go into the military. Not the best choice, but no point second guessing.

I often wonder: will Hollywood be making movies about trans Atlantic slavery and the Jewish Holocaust for a hundred years? Two hundred? Will children be huddling by small fires in the ashes of WW3, still being lectured about the evils of exactly one period of slavery and one genocide? Because I was bored with these subjects like five years into my adult life when I realized that Hollywood revisits them almost every goddamn year.

I grew up in Oklahoma so we had tribal leaders talk to us about Native American history. Surprisingly they would talk about wars with each other. I’d be interested in that or African slavery history since you don’t see that. But I agree, I fear in 100 years they will still be rambling on about slavery

I was bored of that shit before I was even out of high school. I'm repulsed by any movie that's about WWII because it's ALWAYS clearly gonna be some Oscar Bait. And once I was forced to read "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" by that fat fuck, Maya Angelou, in tenth grade, I was officially DONE with black stories that do nothing but preach the same goddamn messages of "wacism bad," "swavery bad," and "wypipo bad" with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer.
