Pedro is at least a decent actor, the new “it girls” Hollywood is trying to push is just ugly mixed women with a sprinkling of ugly white women who are terrible actresses also. You could make a case for Ortega because she’s at least talented and cute but the rest are god awful.

Oppenheimer is fine, but it's a departure from what we expect from him. Now this? The guy seems kinda lost. Adapting classical material is what old school directors did to stay employed while they figured out their next big move. He's turning into Ridley Scott.
I hope at some point this mindset that black/female/gay must be in everything even if it doesn’t make sense goes away. Same with race and gender swapping. Making a period piece with people that look accurate for the period shouldn’t be difficult

I hated the Iliad. There are very few books I've finished reading that I didn't like, and that is one of them.
The Odyssey, on the other hand, is a story I've read or otherwise consumed several versions of and liked basically all of them.
