Am I crazy that I rarely encountered racial slurs on xbox live and even CS 1.6, CSS servers? Seriously, every time I hear people talk about those days I'm like where the fuck was that? Sometimes someone would go on a racist rant or some zionist stuff but no one paid them any mind. And I played on public servers, even vac free servers for a while and I never got the same experience the memes go on about.
But then again I also played Fallout New Vegas from release for about 200+ hours on the 360 and it only crashed on me twice. I'm just gonna assume my timeline got deleted or merged with this one around 2014.
This is the point. It happened. A lot. No one cared so it was immediately forgotten and had no real impact on the world. You know, like almost every single regular conversation between two average people that had ever occurred before that back to the beginning of time itself.
Calling someone a nigger back then was so boring and commonplace that people stopped doing it because of how weak it was. You had to get creative with your insults to really make a mark.
