UCLA Medical school has tanked in rankings due to totalitarian DEI policies (twitter.com)

Its a little irritating that progressives have turned 'don't go to a black doctor' from a bit of an eye-raising sentiment to highly practical advice. Imagine being an intelligent highly skill black doctor and knowing that "don't trust a black doctor" is good advice. This, by the way, is why Clarence Thomas has to go through life with a stick up his butt, and he's said as much.

Ben Carson is one of the most renowned surgeons to walk the planet, he’s also the product of merit recognition. A Ben Carson in college today would not come out the same caliber of person because of the difference in policies and treatment.

Or a Thomas Sowell in the economics/finance sector.

These fuckers are actually making it easier to dilute the gene pool of a race of people who are already at a biological disadvantage via IQ. If you allow more low IQ people to graduate and "survive" by getting DEI-awarded jobs that pay a lot, all you're doing is making it even MORE difficult to root out the violent 13/50 and to find the smart ones who should be the ones replicating like the ones we mentioned.

Way to go leftists.

It’s what happens when you cater to the lowest common denominator. It’s the same reason we have cookie cutter jobs now instead of skill based hiring.

Fun fact: one of the plaintiffs in the case that killed skills-test-based hiring in the US later got themselves killed on the job due to a lack of skills.

Griggs v. Duke Power Co.? Most people don't realized that the proliferation of expensive McDegrees and business requiring a college education for the most basic entry jobs is a direct result of government action.

Prior to Griggs companies almost universally hired people then trained and promoted from within. That's why prior to the 70s most managers and many technical folks had no more than a high school education. The methodology was to hire high school graduates (if that) and train on the job and promote capable people as the need arose. For example a quality control chemist, or even a lab manager, have no need of an undergraduate degree to do the work; it used to be that someone took a job as a lab assistant and if they were smart and hardworking, they had reasonable hope of advancing their pay and career.

Griggs v. Duke essentially ended this approach for the whole country. You see the way companies achieved the aforementioned employee selection/promotion process was using a combination of intelligence, aptitude, and knowledge testing to determine who to train and who to promote. The problem is that Griggs and other plaintiffs were not passing these exams at a rate comparable to white employees. The Griggs decision basically said that if there are racial disparities in the results of testing, using that testing is employment discrimination and that a company would be punished under federal employment law. Yes, the decision technically left open the option for testing that was "reasonably related to the job," but this left the plaintiffs of Damocles hanging over any company that wanted to rely on testing for the selection or promotion of employees.

So employers looked for other ways of choosing and promoting employees. The further the criteria were from their control, the safer employers were from employment law. What shook out was the use of college degrees as a baseline. At first this seemed great: if you had a degree you were guaranteed a job. At first. This is the boomer era of "just go to college." Then basic economics reared its head. Educational institutions were suddenly facing an unlimited supply of customers who needed their product to get a job. Universities grew, bloated their budgets, and started selling degrees that were useful only in that they were degrees. Decades of administrative and budgetary excesses and the irrelevance of the quality of the product lead to today post-secondary education environment.

So here we are. College educations are shitty AND overpriced. And its still borderline illegal to figure out who is and who is not competent, and its defiantly illegal to do anything about it.

Good to know the exact case name. I presume that was the first test case of the civil rights laws?

The thing about middle class black people is they cousins. And they kids.

I have seen several times 2 successful black people marry, reproduce, and be shocked to find out that their progeny is a no-good nigger. The way sexual reproduction works, they tend toward the racial mean. The offspring of two high IQ blacks is likely to have a higher IQ than the average black but still lower than the average white. The offspring have a much lower IQ than both parents is not an unusual situation. They try to train the kid, but sometimes DNA wins out. So now you have successful black people living in a white neighborhood with their criminal son. And it brings in the crime.

Similarly, successful black people still have criminal niggers as cousins and lesser-related people that they call cousins. Old timey black families were big, so there can be a lot of these. They also come around causing problems. Sometimes, the successful blacks try to help the poor ones. Like anyone would for their cousin, but statistically badly behaving blacks are worse than others.

If you are the rare black genius, then affirmative action detracts from your achievement. If you are anyone else: getting promoted above your competence level, in our system, works for you. So the genius, Thomas, can hate it as much as he wants. Retard blacks who can scrape through medical school make more money than they would otherwise. And so on down to the fast food worker who doesn't get fired for being late because the manager doesn't want to seem racist.

It works for them. There should be no surprise that they vote for it. I don't think trying to appeal to pride makes sense. I just think that appeal doesn't work vs cold hard cash. What should work is fighting them democratically. No 13% should be able to vote themselves the treasury. Something other than democracy is the problem if that's happening.

There are many reasons to feel sorry for the black genius. But it's not my fault. Talk to God.

I will add a caveat that doctors actually from Africa are pretty solid in my experience.

This is only true in the context of selective immigration policy. If your immigration standards are high, you'll get exceptional people from everywhere. The US currently has no standards whatsoever (actually, the incentives are to discourage high skilled, law-abiding people from migrating) so that observation will quickly be obsolete.

It's still a gamble though. You regularly hear about some immigrant doctor or other professional being busted for fake credentials. Personally I don't take the risk.

If only half the stories in the linked article are true, that place is an extra-special type of mess.

This story is just so far beyond the pale of even Clownworld though. The grift is indeed real.

After a Native American applicant was rejected in 2021, for example, Lucero chewed out the committee and made members sit through a two-hour lecture on Native history delivered by her own sister, according to three people familiar with the incident. No applications were reviewed that day, an official present for the lecture said.

Who wants to bet that the sister got paid to give the “lecture” as well

"Did you not know African-American women are dying at a higher rate than everybody else?" she asked.

Let the diversity doctors treat the blacks and browns then, and they will die at an even higher rate.

Disparate Impact Theory in action. There’s a disparity, so we must investigate, but the only acceptable conclusion is bigotry.

I was certain they would have lower standards all the way rather then just admission. How did they think this was going to work?

Like most DEI parasites, they only give a shit about the racial numbers for their quota. It's always someone else's problem after (other people having to train them, perception fails in the market, lower quality products and services, etc)

Lowering standarts to graduate non-Whites is the next step after lowering admission standarts and ''documenting systemic racism is still alive and well in classrooms and exams'' ( meaning, blacks and browns fail alot more than Whites and East-Asians, which they will forever attribute to ''systemic racism'' ).

White America has for a long time basically agreed to ignore the ugly truth about IQ for the same reason that you ignore the fact that someone's kid is retarded. Some things you're just not supposed to mention in public if you're classy, and as long as everybody goes along their merry way it's fine. But the more these lunatics force us to outright deny reality, the more we have no choice but to point out the ugly truth, and we're made to choose between allowing certain groups the dignity of being treated with respect despite these differences, or allowing our civilization to survive.

This is our version of Lysenkoism, and the consequences of living in denial will be just as catastrophic. What really really sucks is that as a civilization, we had figured out how to allow underperforming groups to retain their dignity due to a historically unprecedented value placed on politeness and compassion for the unfortunate, and that beautiful paradigm of public virtue will have to be sacrificed if we want to not deteriorate to South Africa conditions.

I fucking despise these lunatics for setting us on a path where a more ruthless and unforgiving world is the better road to go down compared to the low-intensity race war, grinding poverty, and ecological mismanagement that awaits us at the end of the other road.

Colorblindness was an identity politics ceasefire. If non-whites aren’t going to observe it so that they can freely attack whites, then whites are going to have to talk about IQ and crime.
