They again and again tell people not to watch their woke shit, and then they're shocked when people follow their advice.

I'm surprised there's still 2 million idiots with nothing better to do than watch garbage.

Watching paint dry would be more enjoyable than this trash. And now they cannot blame the weather being good. I am almost 100% sure since it's on the BBC people just left it on while going outside or while sleeping or while being high or while a nu-british robs their house and accidentally hit the remote that turns on the tv to BBC.

Broadcast TV basically limps along because of old people who don't have the cognitive ability to operate any kind of streaming device and just use the TV remote out of muscle memory.

Honestly, why the fuck did anyone tune in for any of the episodes?

I think it's part of the Doctor Who cycle that people tune in at the start when there's a new Doctor to see if they like it. People would even say that the beauty of the show is that if you don't like the way it is now just wait until the next Doctor and it will feel different.

I don't understand why anyone would watch this iteration for more than a couple minutes, but I think a lot of normies are naïve enough to "give it a couple episodes."

I'd link this video from Doomcock in relation to this.

If his insider is right, Doctor who could drop below a million viewers by the end of the season, it's that bad. I also know it's that bad as Doomcock also reviewed the two episodes and he deserves a vaction from that alone!

Never believe anything you hear from Doomcock's "sources" and "rumours."

I'm still waiting for Gina Carano to appear in the Mandalorian Season 3 episode directed by George Lucas. Also waiting for Kathleen Kennedy to definitely, absolutely get fired this time for sure.

To be fair, it's hard to see people acting THIS retarded as Disney have been acting. There's a limit to what the normal mind can perceive.

Its pretty easy to understand once you shake yourself of the idea that "money" and "direct ratings" are the only thing companies care about.

You don't even need to get into ESG and "Da Joos Humiliation Ritual of Our Culture" when things like optics and deceiving board members can carry "bad" decisions long beyond reasonability.

I stand by my 'they're too retarded' take.

At least when I betray humanity for our future machine overlords, I'm securing my place in their human zoo. These guys are literally burning their company and assets to the ground for hollow platitudes.

Wealth brings a divorce from reality. The same way any lack of consequence does, though this is the greatest degree it can reach.

They truly believe they are above real consequences and that lesser humans simply exist in a 1:1 exchange rate they can exploit without further thought.

While you can call that retardation, its a pretty common human instinct you can find even in the middle or lower class in varying levels. If we don't keep aware of it, we can even fall victim to it ourselves.

His sources and rumours are correct enough, it's the predictions he makes about the Disney board having a rational reaction and following their fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders instead of digging in deeper into political agendas where he is off the mark.

That's only on regular television, however. There were literally billions who watched it on iPlayer.

literally billions

Please say this is sarcasm or a typo, if even a billion wouldn't watch 'hot women bottle feeding newly born puppies' I doubt a billion would ever watch 'black fag acts pathetic through time and space'

It’s sarcasm. Although “more people are watching on iPlayer” IS the go-to defense. I know Disney+ doesn’t release watch numbers. Does BBC do this with iPlayer?

I think they have to as a byproduct of being government funded through the licensing fees.

I'm pretty sure anyone from the UK could a for the data by request as they had to publish how much they pay their staff and showrunners compared to other channels/ streaming services.

Besides that excuse went out the window when they blamed poor rates on good weather..

I hate to rain on your parade, but a drop of this size happens to EVERY new show, regardless of quality. People tune in to see what's new, a chunk don't tune in again. That's why the most-watched episode of a show is almost always the very first one.

Frankly, I'm surprised--and saddened--that it's not a much bigger drop.

Besides, total viewership doesn't matter to advertisers. What matters is the 18-49 demographic number, and where it ranks among others of the day.

For example, The Five on Fox News Channel gets three times the total viewers of, say, AEW Dynamite every Wednesday, but ranks far lower on the chart, while AEW's demo ranking beats everything but the NBA and NHL playoffs, despite only having 1/3 of the total viewers of The Five. That's why AEW gets ads for cool shit and The Five gets ads for catheters.

Watch the demo number, not total viewers.

I've been told this was the best one of the season. Apparently Moffat wrote it.

It was a better episode, and had a classic styled who plot not focused on DEI, and the hero of the story that saved the doctor was a middle aged straight white Christian military soldier. The bad guy was a soulless corporate algorithm focused on profits over people. The women were all clueless emotional idiots that made things worse at every turn and can't follow simple instructions to save someone's life. (literally)

It's a shame THIS is the one people didn't watch. It will send disney the wrong message. So far the more faggy the episode, the higher the ratings, and the less faggy they get the worse the ratings are.

I wonder if they placed them in that order for that reason. I saw the Bogeyman episode and just didn't want to watch another episode. Especially since Maestro looks awful.
