I asked why and got rambling nonsense about blacks having endured racism and segregation and slavery and that you can't just buy into that history and culture by getting a tan. I'd then point out how their explanation would also prohibit MtF transgender because women have a history of being the victims of sexism, and suffering under patriarchy, and pushing for suffrage. So how can some guy buy into that just by tossing on a dress and a wig. Their response? "It's a totally different thing. You're just a transphobe."
