The people (such as myself) who were in college when Jon Stewart was at his peak in the early 00s have now been out in the world for 20-ish years. Now that his acolytes have had the chance to re-make the world in their image, would Stewart conclude the world of today is more sane or less sane than it was 20 years ago when they had zero political power?
Yeah, "when my guy gets in and you're upset about it and complain, you're insane, but we'll pretend to be magnanimous in victory by calling you insane. But when your guy gets in and we start burning down cities over it ... we're justified because you and your guy are still insane."
I'm guessing that the DNC has decided that poor slow Joe is going to step down at the convention and they're having their minion grease the ramp into the metaphorical wood chipper.
It works better if Biden ultimately gets replaced, but the purpose here is stated in the opening statement: "these two candidates, they are both similarly challenged".
Then he gives examples of Biden being senile and says that Trump is old. Notice by the end you're tempted to think "yeah they are both old, they're the same!"

No mention about how inflation all throughout the Biden administration has tanked the economy these past three years, how we lost energy independence because of his executive orders, his gross use OF executive orders, the disastrous Afganistan withdrawal, how he smuggled classified documents of his own during OBAMA's administration, the diary listing an incestuous and pedophiliac history that the FBI was deployed to retrieve, the constant sniffing of children, his protection of his son every time another one of his crimes are exposed (with the money always tracing back to Joe), or his throwing the southern border wide open and impeding every attempt to secure it while aliens come in in greater droves than ever before.
