Legally, its already coded that "discrimination" laws can only work one way. Age discrimination in many areas of the country only applies towards the elderly. You cannot be held liable by the discriminatory laws for being prejudiced towards the young, likely because laws are written by the old to begin with.

So the same loopholes will likely apply here.

I think the other thing too is that it's new york, so much like the rumors of california banning gas-powered vehicles by 2030 you can take it with a grain of salt.

Every theme park in NY will either close down now or have to replace everything to accomodate landwhales and prices will skyrocket and they'll have to close down later anyway.

That's an interesting point. Are basic fitness tests now illegal in New York, if fatties are disadvantaged in them?

There will be a big lawsuit and settlement for discrimination against fat fuck police recruits, paid for by NY taxpayers. Then the recruits will be forced through academy, regardless of physical abiitity, for fear of another lawsuit.

My hopes and prayers go out the first 500 lbs. beat cop who gets ROFLstomped for interrupting a methed-out public mastrubator on a subway.

The burden they carry is imersuable. I assure you, this decision was not taken lightly.

Discrimination based on height and weight is illegal.

Does NYC have professional sports treams? Because in Intersectionality, any disparity of outcomes is the result of systemic opression and must be equalized.

The NBA needs acurate demographic representation of manlets and landwhales. Saying "but they don't perform as well" is just more systemic opression. If you stopped opressing them and instead represented them in these positions, the would perform the same. Or better. Because diversity is a strenght!

The entire purpose of our government is to make the productive absorb the cost of the stupid, weak and self destructive.

One unintended consequence will be businesses removing all chairs. It’s not discrimination if everyone is treated the same.

I didn't see any specific examples provided in the article.

The only thing that came to mind (besides theme parks upthread), was airliners requiring the purchase of two seats.

But since aviation is federal jurisdiction, I doubt this law could touch them.

It will be eventually be illegal to publish research showing a corellation between X protected category and Y unflattering trait.

Right now studies already get denied funding and publishing, or get pulled, when it offends a protected class, but it's not illegal.
