Whenever the LatinX debate comes up, I will always see the fence-sitters like Moistcritikal try to play the anti-woke card of making fun of LatinX while simultaneously playing the woke card of blaming the creation on White People. Central Americans try to chalk up LatinX to being an invention by Whites, but it's all just a fucking cope. All of this LatinX shit has been pushed by people (particularly women) in their own countries for decades and now the second and third generation Latinos in the US have latched onto the idea and are trying to push it in corporate and academic environments in the West.
This isn't a White invention and while the idea has most likely been inspired by Marxists in the West, there is no way in hell that non-Hispanic Americans took the time to create new guidelines for Spanish when they don't even know the difference between the Cuban and Puerto Rican Flags. If the LatinX initiative wasn't pushed by Hispanic diversity hires, then it wouldn't have gone anywhere at all.
Even the "anti-woke" crowd loves blaming everything on white people. They know it's safe. Notice they will use "Karen" but not "Tyrone" or "Shenequa." A lot of that crowd are just unprincipled grifter cowards.
Pretty much every culture and ethnic group has their "quirks", and some are far worse than others. Even if "Karens" were an inherent quirk of European and/or American culture I'd still prefer it over a good majority of the alternative options out there.

Not really. AFAIK it comes from chicanos, which where one of the first hispanic groups that started using an "x" for gender neutral, calling themselves chicanxs. In fact, they use the letter x as a political symbol.
Who are chicanos? Children born in America of mexican ascendence, they usually don't know anything about mexico and can't even speak proper spanish. They also like to play up the indigenous angle, to the point they may come off as the pre-hispanic equivalent of kangs (muh Aztlan).

I think this is true, this is something I always mock the white nationalist types about. The SJW terminology and fads come from all sorts of places, however what's remarkable is even if for example you're dealing with BLM and it's a bloody crowd of black americans there's always a good few white women there screeching away and trying to make everything worse. The protest footage was pretty fascinating, you saw it happening with the migrants in France as well when they had that weird obviously astroturfed protest with tents.
