So cities are once again becoming the breeding grounds for future plagues.....Great I wanted a return to medieval life...

Can anyone get a bunch of flamethrowers and a modernised, heat and fire resistant material Plague doctor outfits, feel like they'll be useful in the future..

I do in spare time look at more off the grid living, my issue is power production sustainably without requiring fuel and the like.

Basically, anywhere near water especially rivers are a GOLDMINE if you want that just for yourself. Solar and wind too dependant on conditions.

Those smallish car charger batteries, and portable, flexible solar panels would be a must if you want power. You might not have much, but a couple thousand watts is better than none when you need it. And I mean the kind of stuff you get at whatever your equivalent of Canadian Tire is.

But then, I think in terms of mobility.

Big problem with hydro is that with traditional big-wheel power systems, you can't really turn the system off quickly in an emergency. Micro-hydro is awesome, but touchy about water levels.

Gasification + solar is the route I'm slowly working down.

apparently part of the issue is the "eco friendly" washing up powders and liquids that "wash" things at 30 degrees

30 deg is apparently not hot enough to kill the bed bug eggs

I don't think a hot wash is enough. You need to super steam everything and put demetrius earth everywhere, uugghh.

Way ahead of you. I saw the fall of the American city coming years ago. Got out as soon as I could and I'm so glad I did. All of my old neighborhoods have become run down shitholes crawling with criminals. New one has a murder rate of zero. I'm perfectly happy to commute if it means feeling safe in my own home.

''Get out of the cities'' is a cry for survival for White people living in crumbling countries overrun by non-Whites.

Do get out of the cities.

Does anyone else think this guy's posts are AI-generated? Every post he makes is a barely-held-together word salad (that rarely has any kind of point) and they're all so fucking long (that's what she said). No one on this forum writes such lengthy posts, except maybe Gizortnik and he usually leads up to something. Not this guy. I'm 99% convinced that he's someone's (maybe SoctaticMethod1's) experiment with ChatGPT.

Nah, what you're witnessing is the lack of distinction between ChatGPT and many people who love posting on the Internet- there usually isn't that much to say, so anyone who post a lot is going to sound like ChatGPT as 99% of their "ideas" will be worthless drivel.

A significant portion of ChatGPT's training data was internet posts, so a similarity of output isn't surprising.

I've had a few ideas simmering the past 7 years to drastically overhaul online discussions and resist Eternal September. Now you've got be doubting whether this is a fool's errand...

I think its just a case of someone who thinks very highly of themselves without any humility, so he doesn't have even the slightest bit of holding back when throwing opinions to people.

Similar things are happening everywhere. In NYC, rodent problems got so bad that back in April they hired a rat czar to try to solve the problem. And with her brilliant leadership efforts, and the heroic efforts of all the newly arrived illegals over the next four months things deteriorated even more to the point that the locals just said "screw it, the rats run the place now, let's use them as tourist attractions to profit some off it"

Why not breed loads and loads of cats. Mean ugly agressive cats. Trained killers. Artificially select for rat hunting. Get a hawk program going while you're at it for the flying-rats.

That or stop being a filthy shithole.

And then when winter rolls around, watch the gorillas freeze to death! Thus solving the problem permanently!

"Experts" dictated you had to remove the rats in a "humane" way with no negative impact on other animals.

Bitch you're overrun by rats. Hit them with 3 types of different poisoned baits.

( you don't want to select for a specific poison resistance and likelyhood of triple-resistance emmerging simultaneously is the closest to zero you can reasonably get ).

Bonus 2020-2023 stupidity about "muh horse dewormer": Ivermectin and other close molecules are very effective at killing bed bugs that would feed on you.

They can't hide somewhere away from the bug spray. They have to eat. They were going to bite you anyway. But now they die if they do.

But "experts" who get to gatekeep access to medication won't let you buy those safe medications that are given like candy in areas where River Blindness ( from a parasitic infection ) is endemic. If there were long-term negative side effects we would know by now.

Ivermectin used to work well on head lice, but "experts" insisted you don't take an Ivermectin pill, but instead... use a shampoo containing it. This resulted in repeated sub-lethal exposure selecting for the most resistant lice, and now it's very likely it's not gonna work on the "line" that infested you. Well done "experts".
