I doubt it will go anywhere. The only way to prove executives did anything wrong would be to accept it is obvious that "woke" makes companies go broke and is a cultural push inline with government and social intentions that aren't aligned with shareholder profits. No one will ever be allowed to conclude this in a court of law in our society.

“So they sold a significant amount of stock during this period of time in which Disney+ was booming. So before the stock bust they sold. Well, there’s now an allegation in this complaint, in this lawsuit of insider trading.”

This is specifically about selling off their shares at its highest while they were publicly lying about the subscriber count. It is about insider trading not damaging the company.

No one will ever be allowed to conclude in a court of law that modern day feminism is a form of cultural cancer.

I mean, all they have to do is cite Bud Light.

I'd like a similar lawsuit against Amazon for grossly mismanaging the Lord of the Rings billion-dollar investment by giving it to a group of nameless, unproven hacks.

Isn’t it true that they originally had people who were respectful of the lore? Don’t forget how they butchered wheel of time as well and that stupid lady decided not to do a Conan show because of toxic masculinity

Yup. Then about halfway into development they fired half that staff and replaced them with more politically useful idiots.

According to DoomCock, the top of Disney is salivating on the idea of firing the woke, untrained hacks and replacing them with woke "AI" scriptwriters.

Which is entirely plausible.

They get an infinite amount of worthless scripts for cheap; Except they haven't worked out that infinity times zero is still zero.

Perhaps they will make "AI" watch this garbage too?

Doomcock doesn't have the best track record though, so I'd take what he says with a grain of salt.

You need buckets full of salt with him.

Doomcock sells rumors as hopium for the outraged.

Honestly, that's just them being themselves, consistent as always.

The villain there is those from Tolkien's estate who literally didn't even let his son's body get cold before selling the IP out to those people, whose track record was on display for all.

His own kin committed a betrayal against the man who assured their entire tree will never need to work again, and they did it shamelessly as that.

All true, but the Tolkien estate doesn't have shareholders.

On average, generational wealth disappears after 3 generations. Some "old money" certainly exists, but if it does so, it is entirely due to the efforts of the new generation, which may have had a leg up in education or networking, for sure, but they do still need to work again.

Most generational wealths aren't also reinvesting their original inheritance into a Movie Trilogy so big it basically increased the value of the original by a multiplicative amount.

Its probably true the book money would have run out after the next generation (as we are currently on gen 3 with his son just recently dying), but the media franchise is fresh and far more lucrative than it ever was prior to the year 2000.

It should be a slam dunk considering that subhuman Iger is wasting resources on his war with DeSantis that could be used to improve Disney's share price. Of course should and will are two very different things.

Too late now. They should have cleaned out the whole board of directors about 8 years ago when they started being transparent about their Satanic agenda. Instead they compounded their mistake by rehiring that pervert Bob Iger.

Surprised it's taken so long with how creatively Disney has been tanking their brand.
