I mean, Disney literally changed Trademark laws for that very purpose over a decade before those ads came out. They were literally lying to people for their own benefit, there was no principle involved.
The real retards is anyone who thinks only one side of this strike is doing that.
Copyright laws?
Always the Irish causing problems :p
What I don't understand is how the copyright could be extended when the art was made prior to the law being written, surely it would only apply to art being made after the law was voted in?
$$$$$
How the tables have turned...
If I could make an acurate, functional replica of a car without taking someone else's car away, I'd download a car too.
The ''copyright infringement is stealing'' false equivalence aside, in my jurisdiction, only profiting from distribution of copyrighted material gets you charged.
I think every car enthusiast out there would love the ability to print parts that need replacing.
Especially classic/vintage car enthusiasts, who already have to machine their own shit.
A 1985 Toyota Celica Supra would be mine after that.
Let me rephrase : here, there is no legal basis nor ''legislating from the bench with jurisprudence'' to extract money or inflict penalty on someone who downloaded and shared a copyrighted work without aim to profit from it.
Basically, the ''you can't sue someone for recording a song on the radio and sharing a copy of it to someone'' was extended to filesharing.
I think it's pretty shortsighted to laugh at the actors, just because a lot of them are shitbags of monumental proportions. This 'tech revolution' will usher in untold horrors, and just further the globalist agenda.
The way I see it, if AI and CGI replaced writers and actors, we'd simply end up with an endless onslaught of soulless corporate drivel somehow worse than what Hollywood churns out now.
With that being the case, I reckon we'll see a resurgence in true independent cinema from people with an actual passion for the process.
AI and deepfake video cuts both ways. If Hollywood thinks they can control it as a means to simply make movies without paying actors and writers, they're very shortsighted.
I would guess within 20 years you'll be able to have AI on a home PC that can make movies for you (ex. You could have it make a Lord of the Rings movie by telling it to reference all of Tolkien's work), and then we won't need the studios anymore.
At the rate tech's been going, by then it won't be movies, you'll have basically Picard's Holodeck. Or at the very least, AI-made interactive VR.
The big thing is getting 3D to work. I've been trying several different methods and none of them have done what's needed so far.
3D works fine, visually. The tech has worked fine and existed since the 3DS, which did it spectacularly, with no goggles, no glasses. The problem is the cost and creation of content.
I meant Generative AI. 3D meshes are an absolute pain because we are so near and so far.
I'm just biding until the technology is mature before I make my opus, a dramatises trilogy of "The Greatest Story Never Told" starring Ryan Gosling as Hitler
I am actually curious: what kinda untold horror do you expect?
It's just so very 'own nothing and be happy,' so cyberpunk dystopia, so inhuman and globalist. It just seems like a disaster waiting to happen; it will make things even more fake, and give those in charge even more ways to manipulate people.
Unless people give up on watching entertainment entirely. I know I did. I'm literally lack of knowledge and motivation away from making another bushcraft video where I'd make a wooden shack in the nearest woods.
Do it, you'll at least get me as a subscriber. I love that sort of stuff, this and other stuff(mostly long form content i.e. game challenge runs, essays, true crime) are the only things I actively watch now aside from older stuff.
Some of the best content on the niche corners off yt etc are from the people who started from nothing. Utterly fascinating watching people learn a new skill
blur the lines between fake and real to the point lie is truth... people need to realise what this is before its too late. if your perception of reality is under someone elses control, are your opinons even yours at that point?
I'm laughing at all of them. Corrupt perverts and Bolshevik scum on both sides, I hope they destroy each other.
You wouldn’t download a car!!!
Yeah, I would!
I look forward to it.
Many already have...

Now I need a wheel well fastener for a 2010 Toyota Camry.
You wouldn't shit in a policeman's helmet!!!
Sure I would. But only if it was the whole thing. With my luck, a part-by-part download would wind me up with Johnny Cash's psychobilly ride.
That ad is like 15 years old at this point and everybody has moved onto piracy as a fact of life so what is the point?? Is this fag going to stop torrenting now?
I'd say piracy was a fact of life those 15 years ago, and since then, a new generation grew up and they don't know what a rip is because it takes more than one tap in an App Store app.
... this comment is made in jest sad i gotta label these. oh i know what a rip is. its what you do on the toilet with diarrhea...
New intro to all Hollywood films
It's funny how they want THEIR acting to be timeless and kept in their possession when they reduced that themselves by dating themselves to what they are supposed to be virtue signalling at a precise time.
