First of all, everyone knows that the pyramids were landing pads for space ships. Renowned egyptologist Dr. Daniel Jackson famously gave a lecture about this all the way back in 1994.
Second, ancient Egyptians were white. Genetic study has shown them to be very similar to the ancient Greeks.
First of all, that was one of his detractors saying it. He said nothing of the sort. If you rewatch the historical documentary of his session, it's plain as day.
Second of all, they were mudbloods. Damn muggles. They were a darker skin than nordic, but they were definitely not arab or berber.
They were mediterranian and northern african. Not white. now, there were plenty of egyptian rulers that were white. They're basically all named Ptolmey, and they are all greek.
UFOs/paranormal have been a side interest of mine since I was in 3rd grade. I’ve heard these morons spout this nonsense that it’s racist. I tend to tune them out. Although maybe tuning them out and not confronting them I’d a problem
Yeah that has been a thing for a while. I remember Art Bell talking about ancient aliens and mentioning how the head archaeologist in Egypt called that theory racist against Egyptians.
I'm really curious how ONE RACE, THE HUMAN RACE people will adapt to reality if humanity ever encounters a completely distinct race at a biological level that is entirely impossible to deny that is also objectively superior in every metric to humans. Then, just to really throw them off. This species is able to reproduce with humans and create hybrid offspring that are superior to humans but inferior to the pure alien race.
It might pretty much destroy the "we're all equal" bullshit... but somehow, I imagine, lunacy would prevail. THE ONLY REASON THE ALIEN RACE IS SUPERIOR IS BECAUSE OF SYSTEMATIC OPPRESSION AGAINST HUMANITY BY THE ALIEN RACE AND WHITE MEN.
not even getting into the neo-nazi stuff, we are not all equal.
it's trivial to measure obvious differences between races and sub-races. take average height for example. races and sub-races have wildly different stats for average height.
now expand to something less superficial... rates of skin cancer and sickle cell. these are DIRECTLY racially influenced. whites get skin cancer far more and far worse than everyone else as melanin directly inhibits UV damage that causes skin cancer. sickle cell is massively more common in blacks, as it's a natural mutation that aids in surviving malaria, which was common in africa, but not common in most of the rest of the world. blacks with sickle cell survived malaria outbreaks to pass on their genes. those without it didn't.
even crazier, "black" has many sub-races, even more than whites. sickle cell is not universally prevalent among blacks. similarly, running race winners tend to be split across different black sub-races. racial kenyans destroy everyone in long distance running. various pockets of blacks from the islands and pockets of africa dominate short distance running.
these are directly observable and empirically measurable traits that are scientifically incontrovertible. these shouldn't even be controversial. the problem is that once they accept this, then they're forced to accept that there may also be racially different, measurable stats on matters like IQ or criminality.
it's why you get called racist for stating the medically certain fact that whites get skin cancer more and blacks get sickle cell more. because they eventually lost enough arguments that they know what comes next.
right, but the point is that woke jackasses won't even accept the simple scientific facts that are not even controversial. no way they will accept the controversial facts. it's why we need to get more aggressive in mocking them as anti-science fools pushing the cult of wokeness.
Stop using "race" and "species" interchangeably. Race is a subset of species (like breed, or subspecies).
If they can breed with humans, then they're biologically human themselves (this goes for Neanderthals, Denisovans, or any other extinct races of human who could breed with humans living today.)
The only way some species from another planet, that is, a completely different natural petri dish of evolution would be able to "breed" with humans is if they had some massive genetic engineering chops under their belts (which is likely, if they can cross interstellar space) - but shit, that would be like humans wanting to splice their genes with horses or bears, and shit, they'd complain if you tried to see if chimpanzee zygotes can cross in a fucking test tube.
Even shit-ass Star Trek sorted this out with Spock's World (a novel), which specifically detailed that making Spock was NOT a natural - or cheap - endeavour. He was made in a test tube. The problem with the last season of Enterprise is, it shouldn't have been humans bitching about crossing with Vulcans, it should have been Vulcans disgusted at being mixed with hairless chimps!
Liger: The liger is a hybrid offspring of a male lion (Panthera leo) and a female tiger (Panthera tigris)
Liger: Species: P. leo♂ × P. tigris♀
See the problem with all discussions regarding, race, species, subspecies, etc... is that everyone uses the words wrong. Humans do in fact consist of different species. There's about 3-4 distinct species. Then tons of hybrids and many subspecies. I am suggesting that there does exist an alien race that is a different species but the same Family or Genus such that they can mate with humans but are so distinctly different, no one can deny they are a different species, unlike how everyone today denies the existence of different species of humans.
Taxonomy is a mess, and was invented in the first place by a CREATIONIST, not someone thinking along evolutionary lines. If two creatures can make babies that are fully viable and interfertile, then they're the same species.
Keeping in mind that speciation is a process and not an event, of course you're going to find animal groups along a SPECTRUM of how well they can breed with each other, but the cut-off should be set fucking hard at "viable but not fertile" (ie, mules, or that European arthropod group that spawned a parthenogenic new species about 25-30 years ago).
Race? Well, if you can tell the difference between one group and another, and those groups tend to prefer themselves to breed and associate with, you probably have two races. It's more than skin deep, and a race is just a stepping stone on the way to speciation. The first thing to split a species is probably communication and behaviour, with looks (ie, skin or coat colour) just being a visual marker (and there may be scent markers as well.) Races themselves would start out as "evolutionary variants within a population" that simply became common enough to become self-perpetuating (ie, they can find and mate with each other and don't have to settle for breeding with the majority.)
The reason sci-fi has human-alien hybrids is because of the CREATIONIST myth that if something looks the same, then they must be the same (even though Linne erroneously made dogs, wolves and coyotes different species, which they are most certainly not, and the only difference between them is looks and lifestyle - same as humans. But that twit was so afraid of recognizing human closeness with other apes, he deliberately gave them each their own genus because of religious reasons and his own personal sense of taste. Add to that the conceit that anything "smart" has to look like a human, well. It's garbage, and should be classed as "space fantasy" rather than "sci fi".
I mean, seriously, using Linne's own logic and rules, imagine we're "starfish" aliens from some distant planet, studying the creatures of Earth. We take a human from England, and a human from Japan (and let's say the year is roughly 1000 AD, or earlier.) We know that the way they make their hives looks a little bit different, and they come from islands on opposite sides of the planet. They even look a bit different, and like different foods. Are they different species? Let's put them in a cage and find out. Oh, look, the female rejected the male. Oops, the male killed her. Different species! Yep, that's the logic he used to put wolves and coyotes as different species. Even though they can make babies. But dingbats like him don't think that "animals" can be "racist". At the very least, genetics studies are starting to force them to realize where they went stupid. Oh, and there's only one species of rabbit, and one species of hare, but they both have many races. And apparently, North America only has one species of bear.
Let's just cut to the whole point. You're saying Tigers and Lions are the same species. Cool. Every single person on the planet considers them two distinct animals. Same species or not. No one thinks of Tigers and Lions as being the same. They hunt differently, the look completely different, they live in different areas. Everyone just understands they're a type of big cat but they are a distinct animal.
All I'm trying to get at is that humans are the same. A negro, an asian and an aryan are distinct animals. We are not the same. We are as different as a lion and a tiger more-or-less. However, that is not what most people think. Most people think if it weren't for Male Lion Supremacy oppressing the Tiger, that the two animals would be identical in every regard except the color of its fur. This is simply not true.
All I'm suggesting is maybe we encounter an alien as different as a Lion is from a Tiger but another humanoid as different from humans on Earth that no one could deny they were distinctly a different "animal" like how no one disputes that a Lion or Tiger is different.
Humans are NOT all the same. A white guy with expensive equipment DOES hunt differently from a fucking Sentinelese. Anyone thinking some numbnuts modern Inuit with his high powered rifle, Goretex tent, and Fucking Snowmobile is doing anything at all fucking "traditional" is a goddamned retard.
Sigh. I'm arguing that BEHAVIOUR is a horrible way to define species, and only a retarded fucking creationist would even think of doing it that way.
Behavior is the most important way to define species. Let's take the black bear and the grizzly bear. If you encounter a black bear in the woods, you are supposed to make lots of noise to scare it away. If you encounter a brown bear in the woods, you are supposed to play dead. Do you imagine the difference between the behavior of the black bear and brown bear has to do with the sophisticated technology the brown bear has? I mean, clearly the brown bear has high powered rifles which is why he doesn't run away when you make lots of noise compared to a black bear... right? lol... Animals have genetic predispositions toward certain behaviors and that's the most important aspect of the differences between races, not the color of their fur.
Everyone was a creationist in the 1700's, and almost all scientists were Christians. Even today half of scientists remain religious. Linne's taxonomy was created more than a hundred years before the Origin of Species. It's not fair to judge him based on modern standards.
Yes, I know, but I can judge the science assholes who never altered his bullshit or even QUESTIONED it until genetics research started in the 1990s. And still the coyote still isn't classed as Canis lupus latrans when it fucking bloody well should be. (Actually, the species names should be latrans, if the coyote has the grandfather genetics for wolves and dogs). Among other stupidities left over from the Creationist era.
You also have the double-think types who say they "believe in" evolution by selection, but then turn around and treat "all humans are created equal" like a biological truism rather than a legal tenet ...
I disagree with all these "aliens did it" conspiracy theories, but one thing I have to give them is that they are not racially motivated.
Anything and everything ancient from the Great Pyramids in Egypt to Stonehenge in England and the Ring of Brodgar in Scotland was "built by ancient aliens".
The Pyramids one is the most famous by a large margin so, because they don't want to talk to those wacky conspiracy theorists to actually learn anything, they think its the only one and thereby clearly its just those white people hating on the Kangz.
2 of the pyramids in Giza are larger than the Luxor hotel. The Luxor is the largest pyramid in the US not the world. And it’s not just the size of the pyramids in Giza but what they are made of and how precise each cut is.
I personally do not believe in the ancient alien theory. I believe ancient civilization had a better understanding of a few techniques that were forgotten as other technologies advanced. And of course during the dark ages we lost a lot as well. I mean we just recently figured out why ancient Roman concrete was so strong.
Well, we actually know that humans have gotten significantly more intelligent over the past thousand years. There's something to be really proud about that a civilization could construct a literal ancient wonder like the pyramids at Giza. It's kind of fucking stellar. The level of organization, sophistication, attention to detail, and ingenuity to create such things is utterly mammoth. I think the only thing comparable in modern times would be things like Particle Accelerators and the entire US Highway system.
That last person in the image using a hotel made of concrete and steel as a counterpoint to things made from ancient stone blocks was a level of stupidity I was not prepared for this morning.
I always found it ironically low IQ when someone see a marvel of ancient architecture, has no clue how that civilization could have achieved that and project onto them "nu uh, THEY were too stupid to figure it because I can't, and I am better than them!".
And instead of discovering which engeneering tech they developped for it, or just be content appreciating what others did, go for "supernatural magic/aliens beyond our comprehension".
Specifically, the Ancient Aliens thing isn't racist. At all. It's loonies obsesses with seeing extra-terrestrials everywhere, including as the facilitating factor for major technological developments of Western/White civilizations.
But race grifters don't care, and won't change their tune after learning the Alien Loonies credit to aliens Western tech too.
Race grifters are Ancient Racist Loonies. Every single shortcoming they have will be blamed on Ancient Racists, especially when there wasen't any to blame.
Well, white cultures had more of a habit of documenting history in writing than most other cultures, with the exception of people in the Orient. They were usually written in the form of poems or myths to be spread like religion, but there were also notes and journals written in a more objective-seeming way. Not to mention that as descendants of those people, our building techniques and knowledge are directly derived from theirs, giving us a clearer perspective on how they progressed.
There are probably simply fewer "alien" theories for constructions and achievements from white people, because there is less mystery surrounding them in the first place. Alien theories are basically the equivalent of saying that something happened through pure divine intervention. It's because people aren't aware of a more plausible alternative, yet.
I don't know about that. I think Europeans benefit from most of our civilization continuing into modern times in one form or another. We know "Fertile Crescent" region contained several civilizations, but a ton has been lost.
The Assyrian Civilization's story is fascinating because basically all that we had about it was from Xenophon who happened to stumble onto their cities ruins on his retreat from a Persian army, and it's what sent him into becoming a historian in the first place. The build who lived directly next to the ruins didn't know what the place was. What we now know is that those people were the decedents of the people who lived in the Assyrian city, and the entire language, culture, and history had basically been lost in the span of 200-300 years. The Assyrians wrote tons of stuff down, but it doesn't mean anything if you can't read it. Once people forgot the language (and once rival civilizations destroyed their ruins), the knowledge was utterly lost.
Europeans had the same problem after the fall of the Roman Empire. Early Medieval art work actually depicts Roman battles as if they had taken place in their time, like with knights in armor and shit. They had no idea what a Roman legion looked like, and yet Charlemagne called himself a Roman Emperor. Ruined roman bathhouses still existed, and everyone was still walking on Roman roads.
As a post-enlightenment civilization, we decided not only to keep all of our previous history, but to also try and discover the old stuff to. That is what seems to be specifically European. With the onset of Islam, basically everything in the Arab world was annihilated as evidence and renamed. The Ancient Egyptians who built those pyramids in Giza didn't even know anything about them. They'd been using them as construction material for centuries, until the Europeans promised to pay them to look at it.
This nonsense goes right back to Chariots of the Gods?, and has been repeated ad nauseam ever since that book came out. Find that book, and the relevant episode of In Search Of ..., and a lot of what they say there will probably sound awfully familiar.
I think the pyramids and other ancient megaprojects were built for the same reasons such shit is built today - someone simply wanted it, and had the money and people to make it happen. In the case of the Egyptians, it probably started as a make-work project as a response to sudden explosive population rise after agriculture and the resultant food security drove death rates down/increased infant survival rates once they got the hang of the whole "settled farming" thing. What were they really originally for? I dunno, but I like Robot Chicken's theory. (there's a link there, it's safe to click.)
I'd argue the reason for it is a bit different. Ancient Egypt was effectively a totalitarian empire. It's not just a megaproject, but a government Make-Work Scheme designed to keep a population of middle-class intellectuals and bureaucrats permanently employed, and politically loyal to the head of state.
This nonsense is utterly harmless, but the purpose here is to normalize the establishment crushing disagreeable dissent, or anything that conflicts with bureaucratic and establishment narratives.
Now, there is something to be said about some inventions. You're right, there are some technologies we don't really understand and can't replicate. "Persian Fire" ships were one of them, Roman Concrete was actually another that we've only recently discovered how to re-create. None of these were made by aliens. Ancient Pyramids had long been a custom in Egypt for thousands of years, and the ones at Giza are probably one of the most stellar building projects in human history. How you move the bricks is difficult, but it's not at all impossible with enough men and ingenuity. Same with Stonehenge.
First of all, everyone knows that the pyramids were landing pads for space ships. Renowned egyptologist Dr. Daniel Jackson famously gave a lecture about this all the way back in 1994.

wasn't king tut blonde?
I don't think so. Ramses the Great was a redhead, though.
Some, but not all. Most modern egyptians are descended from the arab invasion of the 7th century.
They were mediterranian and northern african. Not white. now, there were plenty of egyptian rulers that were white. They're basically all named Ptolmey, and they are all greek.

Yeah, and if I see a nigger or paki, I run the fucking other way.
But the two bears can still interbreed. Just like WASPs, niggers, and pakis can.
How humans are supposed to react to something is a SHITTY way of defining species.
But it's a GREAT way of defining RACE. Humans RACES exist, I never denied they're one species with MANY RACES.

Most of the construction can be explained with a lot of people having a lot of time and being religiously motivated to build monuments for their gods.

"Did you build the pyramids?"
"Only the one in Las Vegas."
