2 of the pyramids in Giza are larger than the Luxor hotel. The Luxor is the largest pyramid in the US not the world. And it’s not just the size of the pyramids in Giza but what they are made of and how precise each cut is.
I personally do not believe in the ancient alien theory. I believe ancient civilization had a better understanding of a few techniques that were forgotten as other technologies advanced. And of course during the dark ages we lost a lot as well. I mean we just recently figured out why ancient Roman concrete was so strong.
Well, we actually know that humans have gotten significantly more intelligent over the past thousand years. There's something to be really proud about that a civilization could construct a literal ancient wonder like the pyramids at Giza. It's kind of fucking stellar. The level of organization, sophistication, attention to detail, and ingenuity to create such things is utterly mammoth. I think the only thing comparable in modern times would be things like Particle Accelerators and the entire US Highway system.
That last person in the image using a hotel made of concrete and steel as a counterpoint to things made from ancient stone blocks was a level of stupidity I was not prepared for this morning.

The Babylonians had developed Base 60 math for their creations. I'm certain the Egyptians knew a thing or two we haven't because we've gotten dumber.

We have computers to help with that. They had their brains and sticks. Literal sticks for measurement. Fascinating shit.
