I mean, twitter use is at an all time high, despite recent controversy and losing tons of employees. While I don't have hard numbers, I think it's safe to say Twitter is more profitable than ever.

Isn't it obvious? He wants to be remembered as a hero or something along those lines to the common class of people. But at the end of the day, he can easily become another WEF figure since there's no one that can say no.
What he realises with this progressive ideas, it does more harm than good to the population. I think he wants to go back to early 2000's where everything was pretty normal and not insane, normies and media also kind of worshipped Elon.
He's a futurist longtermist obsessed with humanity prospering into the future and up into the stars. His companies are all about the next step in tech evolution, from neurolink to starlink and tesla and spacex. The theme they all share is not just being tech, but being 'next gen/next step' tech.
Twitter appears like an outlier unless you saw old twitter (and the other social media big players) as a barrier to progress. Which it absolutely was. You want to launch a rocket? Better not wear the wrong shirt designed by a woman or else twitter will tear that accomplishment down.
It can't be defeated without coming to terms with some very hard truths about race, women and sexuality, and that's something I think very few people on either side of the political spectrum are capable of right now, Musk not included
It's going to be extremely interesting once we reach the point where people do start grappling with those truths though. I can't wait to see how it goes down, even though it will probably be catastrophic.
Our collective capacity to grapple with unpleasant truths is determined by our collective suffering. As things get worse, people will go further and further afield, looking for answers. And as globalist/Marxist answers only create ever more suffering, the demanding throngs will eventually arrive at our philosophical door. I think it’s critically important that we have a cohesive and compassionate ideology ready and waiting for them.
I want the best for most peoples. I want most everyone to have fulfilling, happy lives. But as you say, none of that is possible if we insist on the fraudulent foundations of feminism, multiculturalism, globalism, etc., and certainly that dream is impossible if we continue to be controlled by a hyper minority of power-hungry assholes, tiny hats or otherwise.
