You got to read this, the entitlement of this students is incredible. Some students did not study do to Covid or what ever and they blamed the teacher for having standards.

“Students were misreading exam questions at an astonishing rate,” he wrote in a grievance to the university, protesting his termination. Grades fell even as he reduced the difficulty of his exams.

This part is mid article:

Many students were having other problems. Kent Kirshenbaum, another chemistry professor at N.Y.U., said he discovered cheating during online tests. When he pushed students’ grades down, noting the egregious misconduct, he said they protested that “they were not given grades that would allow them to get into medical school.”

The conclusion is that they have a right to get in to medical school, is not something they have to earn.

Mechanics who cannot repair.

Probably part of the plan to phase out private car ownership.

This is the future of most professions. Doctors who don't know anything.

Imagine going through the past 2 years and saying that the FUTURE is doctors who don't know anything.

I had a tenant that did not know how to change a lightbulb, he was a middle manager at a tech company in his late 20s.

He is married now and has a kid so I assume he had to start picking up some skills.

The bar that was set to keep incompetent people out is being pushed into the ground.

It's no wonder the medical profession is falling apart.

Yes, it's supposed to weed out the people who don't belong there. Not that I necessarily approve of using organic chemistry to weed out med students. Medicine is mostly memorization and people skills. They will never really use organic chemistry unless they're trying to be far more clever than most doctors. But I guess the weed out course has to be something.

The students need to look in the mirror to see who is responsible for failing the test.

It isn't fair to students who studied and passed the test either. They should be defending him.

In my "weed-out" course, the prof once said "all but 5 of you failed." to a month-end test and then let the class murmur.

I asked outright "so who are the other four with me, then?"

I got seven hands up. Some of us were wrong, but seriously, everyone else just went "oh yeah, we suck, we failed.", there wasn't any whinging or complaining, just a "okay, that's one test failed, gotta do better."

I clicked this expecting to see a garbage professor, because that was my experience in school so many that were basically teaching a class because they had to and you didn't even feel like they knew what the hell they were talking about.

I should have known it would be lazy students instead.

Students said the high-stakes course — notorious for ending many a dream of medical school — was too hard, blaming Dr. Jones for their poor test scores. [...]

The problem was exacerbated by the pandemic, he said. “In the last two years, they fell off a cliff,” he wrote. “We now see single digit scores and even zeros.”

After several years of Covid learning loss, the students not only didn’t study, they didn’t seem to know how to study, Dr. Jones said.

These are medical students. Enjoy getting operated on by one of these idiots.

It's going to be interesting getting old and not being able to trust doctors from two entire generations.

But then most of the past generations doctors pushed the fake vaccine, so I guess the whole profession can shove off.

Organic Chem was pretty hard. I did all three O Chem courses at my university. B+, B and B. Safe to say my pre-med/health aspirations were kinda dampered lol. Organic Chem III was interesting, the professor doesn't give out failing grades. Lowest he gives out was a C so you can do jack shit and just write your name on exams and you get a C. But getting a C is the same as failing anyways.

The easiest class was surprisingly physics 2. the professor allowed a cheat sheet of 9.5x11 inch paper. you can write anything on both sides. lol i wrote down all the home work questions + work + answers. half the questions on the final were exactly the same as home work questions and other half had its numbers changed lol.

And then.. the only class i cheated the system (not really cheating per say) on was Calculus 2. The professor had 3 time slot during the day where you can come in to take the final. I asked my friend who went in to the first time slot and after he finished, I asked him for the questions. Turns out the questions were all the same on all 3 time slots lol. I went from B- student to A- student XD...

But im not doing anything related to STEM after college.

I wonder how much of this is due to stupid girls and dumb jocks not having easy access to nerds to bully/seduce to do their homework for them. I personally know women who graduated with computer science degrees who never wrote a single line of code themselves.

LMAO at the idea of any Americans ITT not knowing that by and large, American doctors are useless fucking assholes.

The last 2 times I needed a doctor for serious issues and the last time my mother needed one cemented my distrust and hatred for the average medical "professional".

Stupid, useless, retard nurses, coupled with power-tripping, egotistical asshole doctors almost killed my mother, TWICE in one scenario. Two different times after a surgery she nearly died, once because of nurses fucking off and playing on the night shift and ignoring her emergency call button, and once because she had to get a second opinion from another surgeon who immediately exclaimed that her surgery wound was extremely infected and she might die any day from it.

I had a sudden onset of crippling back pain that was so intense I couldn't even stand up, let alone walk. It was like this for days, I was fucked up. 3 different doctors three drugs at me and told me to fuck off, one insulted my ability to read a pill bottle label, another said she didn't have time for me. I had to research for myself using YouTube and Google to deduct what was wrong with me because retarded fucking subhuman medical professionals refused to do their fucking jobs.

Finally, I took it upon myself to call up a physical therapist office and demand to be let in without a referral since none of the dumbasses I saw would help me. After 2 months of crippling back pain I received help, but only after I did the doctors work for them.

They're useless, subhuman.
