TheQuartering, Heelsvbabyface, Disparu, Geeks & Gamers, Nerdrotic, Critical Drinker and countless smaller right-wing pundits have been slamming The Rings of Power relentlessly for 6+ months. They release videos almost every other day talking about how terrible the show will be and they've been making a ton of bold claims along the way.
At this point I want to watch the show in order to evaluate whether these right-wing pundits are just grifters appealing to their right-wing audiences or whether everything they've been saying is measured and reasonable. This is a valuable opportunity to judge for myself how reasonable these pundits really are.
I usually trust those guys, but with so many people watching House of the Dragon I'm not sure anymore.
Dumb as the race-swapping/gay stuff is in Rings, there's something about black valayrains that really drives me up the wall. An inbred family that is obsessed with purity marries blacks? How much more stupid can you get?
I understand. I watch some of them and really enjoy Nerdrotic and Geeks and Gamers but yea I can get expressing their opinions but endless videos is pointless until they have something to review. The reviewer cited by this article also notes that Amazon made this choice on purpose (of course) precisely to spite Tolkien for being a 'heteronormative' Catholic and implies that all male Elves should be considered gay by default because a gay guy (Lee Pace) portrayed Thranduil the Elvenking in The Hobbit trilogy.

Bolg is explicitly said to be the son of Azog, as well, and the very human Dunlendings gave their daughters to Saruman as tribute so that he might crossbreed them with regular Orcs to spawn Half-Orcs who served as elite soldiers in the army of Isengard.
I'm not going to be satisfied until I see a Chinese trans amputee with dwarfism roll up to the main antagonist, take off xxx breastplate, and say "Reality has a liberal bias" before making the fatal kick with xxx stiletto dagger.
