The main problem with the GOP is that they're useless as a whole, and only the based wing of the party has any kind of idea of what the real issues are. Even they are short on real solutions. I can see DeSantis trying to ban tranny "medical care" that causes permanent damage, but even he doesn't have any solutions to the existing tranny problem. No one has the balls to confront feminism head on, and nothing will change unless and until that happens. Would Tucker Carlson be of any help on those fronts?
Tucker running would be a terrible idea. He has 0 appeal to moderates. He's divisive, which is exactly what he should be as a right wing pundit, but it makes it impossible for him to win as a Republican in a national election. He could run and take MTG's seat, though.
