It’s impressive that people can simultaneously believe that while seeing nothing but pro-LGBT+ propaganda everywhere they look. There’s this caricature of people in the deep south wanting to lynch gays. Then you go there and nobody gives a fuck and just wants to be left alone and is wondering why every show is about someone’s anal sex preference.
Ive been a Christian since childhood and there are a lot of Christians who may not be ok with lgbt lifestyle but at the same time don’t go out of their way to bother them. I remember thinking the “we just want to be left alone” was reasonable until the demand for a small portion of the population be over represented in everything started happening
Things were better when it was taboo. Christians said it was a slippery slope we’d slide down until they were trying to turn the children gay and having drag queen teachers, and it ended up going even further down the slope than they could have possibly imagined back then. Now we have teachers trying to teach children about anal sex and parents being arrested for not wanting the school to give their kids puberty blockers.
The left can never permit itself to be seen as in control. Their whole ideology is built on claims of oppression. If people realize that leftists control every major cultural and government institution in America, suddenly our state of affairs can be blamed on leftism.
I’m in a super leftist place and people still don’t see leftists as in control. I don’t see how they can’t when the mayors, senators, governor, all congressman, DA, fucking everybody is a lefty. All the companies out here are lefty. Universities. Everything is completely blue and they’re still complaining about shit.
Saving the day? Stopping villains? Pssh; anyone can do that lame-o stuff. Now, requesting other people (and their children) give a wet rat's ass about what gets your jollies off; that's heroic!
How is it heroic? What about me as a male being romantic with a woman? Is that heroic? What if I started a family with said woman? And you wonder why Manga is beating comic books. Can we resurrect Kirby, Ditko, and Lee?
Pretty sure he eye beams a spot light after those panels because the cops keep shining them on the jumper.
Also there's a parody version of this in the Tom King Batman comics where Gotham [Superman pastiche] attempts the same thing and it ends with the "jumper" setting off a suicide vest.
They don't know how to write, they are absolute failures in creating worlds , stories and characters and they consider someone who puts meat in his ass a hero.
Do they not care how gay this is? Not in the homosexual sense, I mean it's like some moralistic drivel in a Saturday Morning Special or the "Sailor Moon Says!" segments they added to make the shows meet "Educational and Informational" requirements for kids. It's not art. It's sappy feel-good propaganda that in this case happens to be objectively false. It's dangerous hug-boxing.
Tbf, men who fuck both men and women are complete pariahs in most communities. Male partners are insecure because most bi guys prefer women and female partners have an existential crisis, when realizing, that like them, you can get sex at the drop of a hat.
It's funny that pride movements and woke culture won't touch on this reality. They can't even get near it, because bisexual men invalidate half of their claims.
This is part of the consequences of Bendis yet again completely fucking up a character by having his way with them. Jon Kent was originally the child of pre-Flashpoint Superman and Lois that survived the previous Crisis that gets used as a reset button on the DC Universe. Marvel do similar things.
Jon was delivered by Flashpoint Thomas Wayne, Batman's father from a timeline where Bruce dies in the alley instead of his parents causing his mother to have a breakdown, become that timeline's Joker, while Thomas became Batman - if Batman was the Punisher because Thomas doesn't do much apart from gun down various villains in Flashpoint as he doesn't take prisoners.
Clark, Lois, and baby Jon then made their way into the post Flashpoint DC universe and for their first few months stayed away from everything going on. Then the new Superman died after a series of events left him fucked. Pre-Flashpoint Clark briefly stepped in near the end of the existing Superman's life as it was needed and revealed himself to the rest of the Justice League who had been having their own adventures, and relationships, without any of the existing Lois drama/relationship attached. This included Superman and WW creating craters by pounding each outside of sparring matches.
Post Superman fizzle/death Lex Luthor steps up to be the new Superman. Pre-FP Clark goes "Oh hell no!" and reveals himself to the world. Horrendous writing ensues and eventually Mr Mxyzptlk decides to merge pre-FP Superman with the now dead post-FP Superman because Jon has something akin to a nightmare about losing his parents which removes various concepts that made the two distinct Superman characters interesting.
One big one being that pre-FP Superman knew who the OG Wally West was since post-FP Wally is black while the OG is yet another ginger. This made OG Wally's story even more interesting because he actually had someone who not only remembered him [because nobody in the new timeline did at the time until Barry does Speedforce stuff], but Didio being the moron he is hates both Wally and the general aging up of DC characters so Wally was promptly written out of most works with the disasterous Heroes in Crisis story that was only really retconned recently last year or so in a Flash comic.
It was universally panned as a story.
Eventually after more really bad writing Jon develops powers and starts hanging out with Batman's son, Damian, which led to the quite well received "Super Sons" comic.
Then Bendis happened.
Jon gets spirited away from his parents by Jor-El. Yes, Clark's dead biological father. Who isn't dead. Because portals and other bullshit that meant Jor-El survived and feels like Clark isn't doing things properly so takes Jon and Lois away to help them see the universe as both decide it would be a good idea. Lois immediately [as in the very next issue, they don't even leave with her she turns around that suddenly] comes home leaving Jon with his grandfather who Jon also immediately realises is as fucking insane as a box of psychedelic frogs playing twister and licking each other.
So before anything else goes to shit, that's Clark signing off on this trip being ok despite not actually believing it. Lois signing off on this trip and then not even going herself despite saying if she went it was ok. And Jon realising the grandfather he never knew [because he died when his father was several hours/days old] isn't infact all there despite previous pages up until this revelation portraying him such. Kind of. Jor'El was originally some mystery man fucking around with Clark under a pseudonym which is why Clark didn't trust him at first and really was the reason nobody should have trusted him given how the writing went.
Back to the story!
Grandpa and Jon fall into a time portal, as happens in comics when you need to age someone up. Jon gains like a decade of time which is why he's no longer about a tween. Jor-El eventually gets written back into his box and sentenced for various crimes he committed [that we never hear anything about] and is put back on Krypton by a literal Space UN that Jon helps form because intergalactic species are too fucking stupid to come up with an idea like the UN it seems. Or maybe they're that smart they know it's a grift/scam where many UN peacekeepers go around raping children and others in Third World Countries.
Any-fucking-way, time skip bullshit means Jon is now over 18, replaces his father as Superman because Clark's powers fail for zero fucking reason, and here we are where Jon is now dating someone who he could snap into pieces just by sneezing at them. Literally.
Comics [and entertainment media] don't work that way anymore. It's all about who you know and more importantly whose farts you all sniff because it's a massive virtue signaling circlejerk involving a lot of falling upwards regardless of how huge the fuckups are.
I mean, to be fair, read through the Reign of the Supermen through to the Death of Clark Kent, and you notice 90s comics weren't that much better either.
Pretty sure if I tried writing that particular rant post again with all the reference pages included I'd have an aneurysm or three because of how retarded the story is.
I mean considering that American Super "Heroes" never actually end the villains and leave them in the custody of authorities unequipped to deal with them, a guy who helps get cats out of trees would be more heroic.
Oh yeah, takes a lot to be gay in today's society.
It does, actually, when you're surrounded by groomers telling you you're trans instead.
Right?
Been a while since I saw a plain old homo under 25
The left's love of Muslims brought them to basically do like Iran does : if you're gay, they sex change you into being straight.
It’s impressive that people can simultaneously believe that while seeing nothing but pro-LGBT+ propaganda everywhere they look. Its how leftists remain in power. By offering solutions that never actually work so that people will always vote for them to make things better.
Frankly the lack of suppression of homosexuality is why we are in the state we are in. Indifference to evil allows it to fester.
Yes when you get fawning praise for it
Saving the day? Stopping villains? Pssh; anyone can do that lame-o stuff. Now, requesting other people (and their children) give a wet rat's ass about what gets your jollies off; that's heroic!
he defeats supervillains by giving them superAIDS
Kryptonian Monkeypox!
It's funny you think the little brat could ever go toe to toe with Darkseid. He'd probably cry and piss his pants with just Damien Wayne.
"Okay, we'll call Wonder Woman"
"Sorry, she's pegging my ass."
How is it heroic? What about me as a male being romantic with a woman? Is that heroic? What if I started a family with said woman? And you wonder why Manga is beating comic books. Can we resurrect Kirby, Ditko, and Lee?
That makes you the villain in today's Western comics.
Lol. That’s true. What is sad is so many young ppl literally think it’s uncool and boring to be straight
Oh yea! I remember that. Well I meant as writers or illustrators
You don't have to be a young bi guy to have empathy.
Pretty sure he eye beams a spot light after those panels because the cops keep shining them on the jumper.
Also there's a parody version of this in the Tom King Batman comics where Gotham [Superman pastiche] attempts the same thing and it ends with the "jumper" setting off a suicide vest.
Yep. Part of the reason him and Spider-Man are my favorite. They try to see the good in everyone
I know. Crazy right. Similar to how quite a few of my white friends loved Blade or Beverly Hills Cop
Yep
LOL what a knee slapper

Gay love conquers all (except AIDS)

isn't he like 5
tl;dr yes but also no

jesus. you'd think they'd hire someone that could actually write instead of whatever this convoluted mess is.
But at least they weren't overtly gay.
Love a good nerdrage rant. Have posted a few of my own before about the sheer stupidity of modern comics.
It's. So. Fucking. Stupid.
The Civil War 2 one was inspirational. No really, it in part inspired typing my own such as this.
Pretty sure if I tried writing that particular rant post again with all the reference pages included I'd have an aneurysm or three because of how retarded the story is.
Fags gotta groom

"My Mary Sue is so much better than the original character, because he is undefeatable. You can't beat him, he's that powerful. So, there!"
