You can’t save people who aren’t willing to come to the table. The simple fact of the matter is these YouTubers are a cult. They teach their followers to never associate or even engage with “the other side”. Leftism doesn’t exist in a free marketplace of thought, if your brother is willing to come to the table is the only thing that you can work with. Sadly for most people that takes life fucking them raw and the government gods they worship laughing at their fall.
The only thing you can do to people that aren't engaging or can't engage in good faith is to give them "mind worms". Say things that will burrow deep down as nagging questions that their ideology can't answer. You probably won't be around to see them change, but you can at least plant the seed and hope for the best instead of giving up and doing nothing.

It's the best term to use because leftists think in terms of progression vs regression. They oppose the right because they think it's "regressive" and point to dumb shit like LGBTBBQ rights, abortion (aka their 'right' to murder a child), etc.
If you purposefully label their movement regressive, it at least forces them to have to defend their position. By default they will have to say "of course I'm progressive" and have to provide the reasons why they are when you point out something is regressive.

I was very much a lefty before GG. This is why I think he will come around. When you start seeing leftist manipulation you can't stop, there is no going back from that.
Seeing manipulation is part of it, but the other part is deciding whether or not the manipulation OK if you believe it's serving positive ends. It is possible to be fully aware of the manipulation going on and conclude that it's OK because the ends are good. Politicians and bureaucrats do this all the time.

Yeah, for most ex-leftists, it usually takes a gradual eroding of their cultlike beliefs.
