Covid Hysteria is back.
posted 4 years ago by Smith1980 4 years ago by Smith1980 +56 / -0

I live in Texas and I know in Austin they are back to the old “sky is falling” mentality. Where I live in DFW not quite yet.

I see the hysteria happening everywhere.

People won't shut up about the Delta variant and these idiots won't stop blaming people who haven't taken the experimental jab.

A mere flu like virus is apparently all it takes to completely destroy every single civil liberty we once held near and dear.

We all live among idiots who will sacrifice all of our liberty for a completely false sense of security.

Can you imagine if they wouldve simply explained who has a higher risk, encouraged exercise, talked about how basic vitamins and minerals like zinc can help your chances, and talked about the dangers of obesity.

They would have never done such sensible things.

They don't want to promote better health or help anyone. They just want to use COVID as an excuse to gain unlimited power.

It is clear that the powers that be hate us all.

Delta Variant

Doctors don't have a test for the "Delta variant."

Yep. I’ll just keep exercising and taking my vitamins. Covid isn’t the zombie apocalypse they want it to be.

I eat my shit, get plenty of activity and sunlight at work. Get sick rarely, only mild symptoms thank god. Got the flu shot twice in my life, got sick like a dog both years. That's the only time I got sick like that in my life that I wasn't around nasty kids or siblings who couldn't cover their damn mouths or wash their hands.

Probably shouldn’t be eating your own shit. Eat a neighbor’s instead.

Florida won't. DeSantis has bet his career on this. Thank god for that.

DeSantis sadly will not be the savior you think he is.

Mitch McConnell literally said get the experimental vax or get lockdowned in the Fall. No amount of coercion will convince many of the people who have not yet got it, which means what? Lockdowns incoming in the Fall.

Mitch is the head of the GOP establishment. If Mitch says jump, it is likely all of the GOP governors including Ron will play along.

Have you noticed how as soon as Mitch threatened us all with lockdowns, you saw people like Hannity on Fox begging people to get the experimental vax, Alabama gov Kay Ivey openly blaming people who didn't get the experimental vax for the outbreak and Florida Gov Ronald DeSantis himself also shilling for the experimental vax.

It looks to be that even all of the red state governors will enforce lockdowns in order to further coerce the experimental vax upon everyone.

I deeply hope and wish that I will be proven wrong but things don't look good for any of us.

Mitch is not the head. He is out front, but he is not a leader. The leaders are backroom dealers.

I meant that Mitch is the visible head.

Obviously Mitch has globalist elite masters that he answers to and we obviously don't see who they are because they remain in the backroom.

I'm not even sure they are globalist elites. The Baptists and Evangelicals still hold a lot of sway. Mormons too. There's billionaires in Nevada like Sheldon Asstain. They hate global shit unless it's spreading their version of what America and, thus, the world, should be. New York holds a lot of sway, too much fucking control. Which is why the Southern Republicans won't go after New England despite its bullshit.

The law banning vaccine passports allows for forced injections.

Forced treatment. In it's most wild and illegal interpretation, injections. But that's already been the law. What stops it from becoming that injection shit is the second amendment in action.

Yeah I'm convinced now that I need to move to a different state within the next year or so. I'm going to sit back and watch how it unfolds so I can pick the state that does the best job of fighting for our freedoms.

Yup. Lefties at work talking about delta variant everyday, wearing masks again, blaming everything on the unvaxxed, jonesing for boosters and more lockdowns. You can almost sense anticipation from those most likely to be furloughed again. They desperately want that boosted unemployment so they can get paid to stay home and order doordash for another six months.

At work, morons are coming in wearing masks who haven't wore them for months. Just a few regulars I noticed today. A coworker I know who has had her shots wore it yesterday and it didn't click until this afternoon. A couple people I know who had their shots never stopped wearing it because they believe it will protect them. I want to scream "THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS! THAT'S NOT HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS!" It never protected you, it was never about you.

One woman rushed to the store with her mask on in the extreme heat and humidity of the south florida sun, then took it off the moment she stepped into the cool air and the doors closed behind her. What the fuck was that about?

Try living in Australia right now...it hasn't fucking left.

Although I am proud that there were 30/40k marching in Sydney today to protest these lockdowns. Sort of makes me proud.

Just yesterday I heard two examples of someone being exposed to Covid and panic ensues like it was over a year ago. First of that type stuff I've heard in personal circles in 2021.

Also had someone try to scare me with something about a Lambda variant in Texas now. My response? I don't care about any variant. I'm done with this BS. It's evolving like any respiratory virus does, getting weaker and more prevalent. I already had the earlier evolution and it was a mild two day cold. Why the hell should I be afraid of the weaker variant?

They should report the cycle count, since they larger the count, the larger the false positives. They also should stop saying it's a diagnosis for disease (Covid). At most the virus. More accurately genetic fragments that may be from the virus.

Yep. St. Louis County & City are going back to mask mandates starting Monday unless our AG or Governor put a stop to it. The AG might since he's running for Blunt's seat next year and this is pretty much a litmus test to make it out of the primary. Governor I don't think will after Biden called out Missouri last week about new cases.

I was out last night with doomers who are so concerned and I asked them, how many people per day (7-day rolling average) in the county are dying with COVID two weeks ago. They wouldn't answer the question so I kept pressing to give me a number. Finally one said "I dunno, 40 - 50 a day?" The look on their faces when I told them that two weeks ago that number was 6 day. This week, that 300% spike they saw on the news is 18 people a day. They didn't believe me and looked it up themselves on the dashboard and were shocked that the number of deaths per day has been hovering between 8 - 14 per day since March and pretty consistent.

One still made excuses as to why masks were the right thing to do. As Yuri said, tell them the truth and they still won't believe you...

I am utterly disgusted by how silent and compliant people in the U.S. have been.

The people in U.K., France and Italy who are protesting have been absolute legends in fighting against forced medical tyranny compared to the U.S. where even in red states the glowy event in the beginning of this year completely scared everyone from even trying to have peaceful protests.

I hope the Covid hysteria will fail and the people of the U.S. will actually stand up and say enough is enough.

I just don't feel optimistic about it happening anymore.

The commenters on RT and Sky News Australia are absolutely ripping into Americans for not utilizing the Second Amendment to its fullest. I don't know if it's just them being boisterous, but the Russians, French, and Aussies are saying if they had as many rods as the Yanks they would be putting them to use. With the French actually burning down the vaccine centers, maybe they would.

But sadly a lot of Americans just seem complacent and trapped in a cycle of fear. I think too many people live a comfortable enough lifestyle that they don't want to risk upending it by taking action against tyrannical governments, where they will either be killed or thrown in prison just like the Hong Kong protestors, especially when the alternative is playing Russian roulette with the experimental drug, with the worst case scenario being the loss of their life.

In some ways it's going to be a no-win situation for some people, but that's the price some people may end up paying for the cost of freedom.
