What a sick world these boomer fucks created

It's the political class who created it. The boomers can be accused of letting it happen, but only now are we starting to see the depths of deception and psy-opping that was involved in hiding the crimes and the true goal of said political class.

Sadly, boomers, despite often being based or semi-based when it comes to individual symptoms, have largely succumbed to a lifetime of brainwashing and cannot be counted on for meaningful resistance to the disease itself. Their indoctrination was complete before things were bad enough to start noticing.

But the current shitshow isn't their fault. The blame lies squarely on the liars and the traitors who exploited their trust.

I would say that the false veneer of positivity that politically left messaging is drenched in is one of their most irritating qualities.

Sorry to double post, but I agree. It's the unique combination of abject delusion, and the smug, self-satisfied certainty of their intellectual and moral superiority. And by claiming ownership of that wafer-thin veneer of positivity, they imply (and sometimes state explicitly!) that anything opposed to them, no matter how rational or decent, is anti-love, anti-positivity, and irredeemably evil.

It's sad how they're perfectly willing to criticize Jews, but are incapable of doing it on behalf of themselves or their own society, only if they first launder their criticism through someone non-white.

And by sad, I mean pathetic.

I thought trying to escape from things that make you uncomfortable was a bad thing? Or is that only bad when you don't enjoy every second of being around pedos, hordes of illegal immigrants and violent, wannabe gangsters?

Firing squads are plausibly in the future, but we can enjoy the growing risk of getting kicked to death by sneering activists wearing LOVE WINS shirts in the present!

This is a good insight. And most of the time it's not even the result of a sincere, well-meaning but misguided urge to act - rather, they're acting entirely for the purpose of feeling important and superior, or to signal their purity to others.

Change and progress aren't always bad, but a huge amount of the world's problems come from 'doing something' for the sake of doing something, without caring about the consequences.

It would be highly effective on almost every enemy. The problem is making it happen. First you need people to be aware there's a problem, then you need them to realize how much power they have.

Vast underground meetings in dark rooms in whispers are wholly unnecessary when practical or selfish interests align.

Yeah, but that's where the ingroup preference comes in. They're all pushing the same garbage because they all believe the same garbage and it benefits them, but there still isn't the level of calculated malice that I've seen Imp suggest. If nothing else, most of them are incapable of that degree of forward planning.

The numbers for the game dropped off hard after the initial sales

There's a reason for that, and it's not going to go away with a rerelease. Which is what it is, maybe with a couple graphics settings changed to help sell the lie. They'll eke some more money out of it but people aren't going to suddenly love it.

They had so much good will with TLOU 1 and they destroyed all of it.

A GAME RELEASED THREE YEARS AGO DOES NOT NEED A REMASTER

It's getting worse. It's like we're crossing some kind of event horizon...

If you care so much about XP and leveling, at least incorporate it better!

So it sounds like he's addicted to the XP-grind. I get that, I've been there. The problem is when you start to think every game needs a player-progression mechanic like that, and when you can't imagine any different ones.

This dude subverted his supposed magnum opus because he became dependent on the dopamine release of 'numbers go up' and mining and crafting and shit. It became a faded, passionless patchwork of rote addiction and half-formed ideas. That's sad.

Does local government ever not suck?

Is local government ever not filled with overreaching authoritarians and smugly incompetent morons?

It's depressingly easy to predict. If there's one thing that characterizes feminists, it's the ongoing attempt to avoid responsibility of any kind. Being quick to ghost people, and rationalizing why it's not only okay, but Good™, fits perfectly with that.

Maybe I'm just speaking out of rage caused by this vote but as it stands now, I'm really starting to think imp was right all along.

He thinks it's a malevolent conspiracy against men. There is sometimes malevolence, and there always is a significant ingroup preference, but there's not enough planning for conspiracy on any meaningful scale. Most of it's incompetence and ignorance. (Edit: And a fuckload of entitlement)

Ultimately the enemy isn't women. It's the culture that worships them, elevates them regardless of competence, and enables the worst tendencies of their worst members.

argues that he did not know that pulling the fire alarm would set off the fire alarm

Do they think him being so thoroughly incompetent would make this better somehow?

This is the sort of thing that, yeah, it is actually important to know how to end relationships well if they're not a good match or they're unhealthy for you, but entering it into the Feminist Doctrine is going to make all the midwits and idiots (99.9% of feminists) treat it as gospel, and search for reasons to end their friendships.

Their lives and their interpersonal dealings revolve around buzzwords and half-formed progressive ideas, which is why so many families get torn apart - the ideology makes them seek out reasons to end them.

This is just another example of leftist sophistry - taking something that has a tiny nugget of clarity to it and surrounding it with delusional, destructive nonsense.

Also, I don't even need to read the article to know that the advice boils down to 'just ghost them'; that's their answer to everything and they twist themselves in knots to excuse, conveniently never addressing how cruel it is to do that to someone.

So they're openly saying we don't deserve equity now?

The skill and discipline revolving around 'observing' things, now requires you to close your eyes.

This is the best and most succinct way I've ever seen the problem phrased.

If you frame the argument dishonestly, sure, but I can do that too.

'Babies deserve to live'

'Let women kill babies'

Where would the voters in 'forced birth' states go in that case, I wonder?

If you're doing good science, it may lead you into politically incorrect areas.

It almost certainly will. In Current Year, political correctness is essentially just lies and delusion; 99% of the time, the truth exists outside of what is acceptable to say or think. It is no longer possible for good (i.e. real) science to remain within the realm of the politically correct.

Even if your field deals with something completely uncontroversial (which is extremely rare these days), simply being willing to discard delusion and acknowledge truth puts you so far into politically incorrect territory you can't even see land anymore.

a physician's political views are irrelevant to his professional competence

Disagree, even if Odenkirk was wildly incorrect here.

If their politics involve denying reality and pursuing awful policy for the sake of political correctness, they are more likely to be incompetent in any field. And you're much better off with a doctor who will actually employ their brain instead of parroting dogma handed down by pharmaceutical companies.

Interesting perspective! Unfortunately I have to discard it until you provide photographic evidence of you dating a bald man under 6 feet tall.
