You're right. Most of the current federal government is built on overextension of the commerce clause. from drug laws to the Civil Rights Act. Being in TX is a good buffer, but the framing of COVID should still be rejected.

You're probably one of the more interesting posters here, if you'd bother. But defending Graham is defending McCain, and it's an indefensible position here. These people represent everything our common ground in this place are against.

No. Lindsey is a neocon enabler. If you don't understand this, you're retarded, and you're not retarded. I you do understand this, you're sus. This has nothing to do with principle, and everything to do with the Washinton establishment seeing an opening. Don't be their pawn, Tony. You're better than this.

yeah, but this was really a contain or spread event. local government decided this was a spread event. not my first choice, but we are where we are. the president has next to no input on it. if there's a federal lockdown, it going to be unconstitutional on its face.

not 1 in 1000. it could certainly be worse, but it's more like 1 in 100 for our elderly pop. pretty good for ssi or sdi, but still quite unfortunate.

Agreed. Whatever happens has to be proven. But, there's an unusual deadline on Justice in this particular instance.

Whatever happens, Kek wins.

I get lots of memos. Most of them diametrically opposed. I think Trump won.

Could be, but they'd be biting the hand that feeds them. It's a good sacrifice, because they'll get some moderate support. Kind of makes it a win win for me, because it brings the left party to the right while exiling the extreme, but it also leaves leftism festering, so it's a temporary victory that risks complacency.

If they win, they're set up for a political bloodbath in 2022, and likely again in 2024. If they lose, they're set up to instigate an entirely different sort of bloodbath.

The big problem with this setup is that they only have marginal control over the far left monster they've created.

*by Fake News.

Important caveat.

Yeah, which would effectively end the GOP. Neocons have always been the tail wagging the dog, and Trump was a repudiation of that.

In theory, if a state weren't able to appoint electors before the deadline, it would potentially create a situation where neither candidate is at 270, though, correct? I agree it's highly unlikely, but it is 2020.

I don't think the SCOTUS would rule in his favor without evidence. That won't mean anything to the braindead "Russia Russia Russia!" folks, as they've heartily proven. However, it will be the greatest happening of our time, and Trump will be the legitimate commander in chief.

You sound like a Californian who flees to Texas, just to still vote Democrat.

Let's keep going and see what happens.

They already did. It's been split into the fields of Critical Race Theory, and Intersectionalism.
