How does a virus with 99.9% survival rate cause so much fear? It’s a real virus of course but the Dems/media used the hysteria to perfection. Now I do feel that Trumps personality turned some people off but I am honestly in shock how this constant reporting of cases not deaths but cases scared so many people.
They also presented it as if Trump could stop the virus by snapping his fingers.
Sorry for the rant but I hope small businesses and regular folks ignore any future lockdown mandates.
yeah, but this was really a contain or spread event. local government decided this was a spread event. not my first choice, but we are where we are. the president has next to no input on it. if there's a federal lockdown, it going to be unconstitutional on its face.
True but being unconstitutional hasn’t stopped politicians in a very long time. I live in Texas so I doubt they would do crazy local lockdowns.
You're right. Most of the current federal government is built on overextension of the commerce clause. from drug laws to the Civil Rights Act. Being in TX is a good buffer, but the framing of COVID should still be rejected.
