Isn't that some song they teach kids to stay away from pedos? If so, that will totally be banned soon it's gotta be transphobic or something.
I saw an ad for Star Wars Outlaws yesterday. Thought for a sec, would I actually like it? I mean I knew it would have some character creator BS, but that alone doesn't bother me. I still came to the conclusion it's probably an easy pass. I see they've cemented that for me.
Mine looks the same, but I only am ever logged in on my TV that has Smarttube app. I almost never get any of these new things, albeit there was a time when it was bitching about an ad blocker. That's Brave on Linux with a Pihole, so I have to be a pretty niche case
I don't know if it getting older or what, but my preference has gone a lot more chill the last few years. More chill rock and blues and the like. Also some more country. Almost all old stuff in any of those categories. All time favorite, it's easily about any 90s grunge.
I really do like nearly any music at the right mood, even stretching as far as things from the 40s and 50s well beyond their prime, classical, opera occasionally, etc. With about the only exclusions being boy-band/glamour-woman pop and almost all rap. I'm not interested in anyones niggas, hoes, bitches, etc.
They've gotten a lot better about bringing games to PC and even DRM-free on GOG, which I never expected. So if it ends up looking fun to me I'm sure I'll play it eventually.
I hope it does well, highly unlikely I play it anytime soon without a PS5 and no plans to get one.
What I really can't tell is if the actual game is mainstream enough to get a lot of people to play it. Is it a soulslike? That's what it seems like to me. It's hard to tell from the gameplay I watched, because well if it's played by someone who is actually good at these games then it doesn't look difficult. I'd be thrilled with a Bayonetta-esque button masher.
I've done a lot of old shooters in GZDoom. Just slightly modernized and if I get really bored, there's a huge list of available free "mod" games.
Played Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis a dozen times I bet in my life, both old DOS from when that was still a thing to ScummVM. I really need to go through The Dig as that's one I never got that far into.
Also tried Ultima series in DOS recently. I just can't manage to get into those.
I'm surprised he's lived this long honestly. I figured he'd be suicided or another inmate would accidentally trip and fall into a guard, grab the guards gun to break his fall, have it misfire into Chauvins head, and then be given early release for good behavior.
They love to go on about "late-stage capitalism." When it reality all that team really means is capitalism perverted by socialist regulations like DEI, "too big to fail," etc.
I think they even said at one point it wasn't really that smart, it was just level design. Always liked level design like that, there was a designated point A to point B you had to cross, but the in between was open to multiple routes and methods.
I tend to prefer early 2000s 3D graphics over the modern stuff anyway. There was plenty of capability to work with, and it seemed like the game designers did a much better job of giving a game a "feel." There was also much more done creatively with lighting and darkness and my favorite how many games liked to make things like breakables and loose objects. Think something like Half-Life 2 or F.E.A.R. where you walk around carelessly and bump into things and it goes flying off a shelf etc.
Now, they just go crazy with their ugly character models and realistic frizzy hair movement but the world is always so "same" feeling and very rigid.
That's a really detailed troll. Quick, kill it!
Jews have been complaining and demanding since they were led out of Egypt. Food was falling from the sky for them, and they bitch about it.
Well to quote Clarkson back at them, with one minor change...
This carThose games are the harbinger of everything that's gone wrong in the world. Veganism, cycling, liberal democrats, people who talk about having "my truth." There's no such thing as my truth. The truth is that they're awful.
Never heard of it. Looked it up before I read the article. First thought was who cares about Bollywood, but apparently it’s an “American” movie. I saw Jordan Peele listed as a producer. He’s a raging leftist, so kinda knew what it would be.
They hid it very well in the press materials and the critic reviews.
I remember I was still active on the donald or patriots or whatever it was called then. I tried to tell people, you want to go to this, fine. You need a plan of ingress that involves covering tracks. No cellphones, period. No social media posts. Don’t tell anyone you were ever there. Multiple exit strategies. Even then many of those would have gotten caught via facial recognition. Instead I see, “yay I booked my hotel right there on the Capitol mall, got my flight for that morning!”. Social media posts “So happy to be here inside the Capitol to support my favorite President! #lovetrump They can’t steal this from us!”.
Even so, it would have been as waste of time as it never seemed like there was a path to changing anyone’s minds on the election outcome.
I’m not sure a 15 year old kid would be caught on to that level of doomism at a majorly white high school. There’s plenty of bullshit available to a kid local to their own life.
They never speak of those people having any responsibility ever. Whether it’s the tranny groomers or just in this case the school environment itself. What I always found the most irritating was when teachers would join in. There’s so many that if you’re not figuratively sucking their dick constantly, they will jump right on the dogpile as well.
Get back on the plantation Dwayne! Don't speak out against the owner!
There’s definitely a point where I just don’t care. Do what I can to avoid certain processed food, I really prefer glass, etc. A lot of that is just preference anyway, some things are just inherently nicer. I refuse to hide inside afraid the world is going to kill me. That’s far worse.
I could have told you that and 99% of her views on the world and politics just from the picture at the top of the article. What I can’t know for sure though, is what colors are each of her cats.
Haven’t used it but it doesn’t look bad. You’re going to laugh, but I use RSS for aggregated news. Yep, like it’s 2005. I used Twitter for news for a while since if you follow the right places it can be, but I didn’t really think it was mentally healthy to just constantly give time to the agitating drivel that is on there.
I’ve toyed with the idea of making my own feed app that would also allow following of some social things, e.g. Twitter things not available in RSS, but I never went through with it.
Be sure if you’re taking others opinions of whether a source is right, left, factual, or not with a grain of salt. Whether Ground News or someone posting here. Hell, you should question my definition of fact too even though I am perfect and never ever wrong.
I always lean towards the side of not removing things if there's a fine line. Steam already being a shitshow of garbage, one more getting through, eh, well whatever. It should be policy though to not offer any sort of compensation for reviews. Especially so overtly, I mean if they quietly slip money around behind the scenes and it's difficult to detect, that's another eh, well whatever. That one looks like they are offering free DLC for reviews. No.
I don't like Steam really anyway. I only get things there I want bad enough to accept DRM, or menial garbage games to play online.
Yeah, my first thought when I started reading into maritime/port SOP regarding Baltimore was where were the tugboats, why did they leave, and if they were supposed to leave why is it procedure to let the ship go free near a difficult bridge.
Yeah, I don't think when my brother was in the Air Force was he ever actually issued a firearm at any point including multiple "combat zone" deployments. The nature of his job and the chance of ever actually needing to fire at the enemy, it would just be something that's a pain in the ass to carry around. I imagine the Navy is quite the same, I mean really how often does a Captain need to be firing at the enemy?
I do wonder if that optic is really backwards, I suppose it doesn't matter if the caps are on. Oh and I always shoot with sunglasses if I'm outside. Don't really give a shit what someone says, I can see and I wear glasses anyway.
It still looks really awkward to my less trained eye but I have still shot a decent handful of guns. Probably for the reasons you state. He just looks uncomfortable. I'd guess because he's not a gun guy, hasn't shot much or at all, and they wanted him for a photo op. What's the point of showing a Captain shooting a rifle anyway? Shouldn't I really be interested at his competence at his actual job? I mean "hey this guy hasn't ever crashed into a bridge" would be more relevant than whether or not he can fire a rifle.
