"Ban the future sales of .50 caliber guns in the state and require current owners of them to register them and pay a $50 fee."
Went to have a look at crimes actually committed with a .50 cal
A document for 1999 looked at cases since 1989, 12 cases where .50 calibers were recovered. Only one where the gun was actually used (allegedly) was in the Waco incident. All others were seized in arrests of people for other things, ie. a mentally ill person who had a stock pile of guns, the Mexican cartels shooting people, Canadian smuggling the gun into their county, an assassination plot against Castro in Cuba, and an Illegal Alien Stockpiling Weapons.
This will stop so many crimes ha ha ha ha

Best part is just how much Covid is in the country atm. As of 17th Jan 2022, number of active cases is 4.925% of the whole population, so close to 1 in 20 have covid atm. Someone coming into the country at this point will do fucking nothing.
Only one I still use at all in Game FAQs, probably because the user base in like 39 yo on average, so I find you can talk a bit more, I can even say the Switch is the worst console I've ever owned and not really receive much backlash. But yes the topics do become very stale quickly these days. Shrugs
This is not true, I have multiple guns still, just not the fun ones.
Edit: The real issue is the charges you get for having a gun and gun license, taking a gun to a protest would get you 15 years in jail minimum. If someone kills someone with an illegal gun they will get less time in prison then someone who kills someone with a legal gun. The laws are all there to punish gun owners.
The most crazy one is, if I threaten to shoot someone VERBALLY, I don't even have a gun on me, don't even own a gun, just have the license, and the person doesn't even know I have a license. That act is considered Assault with a Deadly weapon, 10 years minimum.
This is the study that I read: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8088823/ The part about infections comes from having family members of patients take IVM and other families not, the difference in the amount of family members getting symptoms was getting close to 90% That would be my best guess on where these people are getting that.
Extract: Shouman conducted an RCT at Zagazig University in Egypt, including 340 (228 treated and 112 control) family members of patients positive for SARS-CoV-2 through PCR.44 Ivermectin (approximately 0.25 mg/kg) was administered twice, on the day of the positive test and 72 hours later. After a two-week follow-up, a large and statistically significant decrease in COVID-19 symptoms among household members treated with ivermectin was found, 7.4% versus 58.4%, P < 0.001.
This is done by nearly ever single company in Australia now.
Funny part I find is that there was like 900+ tribes always fighting and disputing land ownership (though they claim they never owned land :P ) and even today with people doing these "acknowledgements" "offends" some groups as they believe that the land was actually theirs ha ha ha ha
