The 90s saw a drop in crime across the board as the feds, states and local governments got "tough on crime". 1994 was the year of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act, which was passed with the support of black leaders but is now called racist. Not sure what numbers this guy is using specifically because mass shooting has no agreed definition, but I guarantee wherever he got them it doesn't tell the story he thinks it does if you dig into it.

Spez: There was a time in America when a kid of any age could buy a BAR and a case of dynamite at his local hardware store, yet indiscriminate spree murders weren't a thing. The real question is what has happened to cause young men to so thouroughly reject society they decide it would be better to kill everyone around them.

While I'm not a fan of IS, everyone pays protection money to the local monopoly on violence wherever they are operating. It's normally called a tax.

A healthy bond between employers and employees is good. This seems like a healthy direction to moving towards. Apprenticeships under skilled tradesmen used to be purchased.

Japanese economic boom-bust phenomenon

Princes of Yen (also a good book) lays out that the Americans put all the zaibatsu back in charge of the economy post-war, and they did a pretty good job. Then, predatory western capital wanted a piece of pie, but the only way to get in was to purposefully cause a bubble to break the whole system. The simplified version is that the zaibatsus focused all new money investment into capital expansion, and the bubble was caused by economic sabatuers pivoting the banks towards dumping newly created money into speculation.

I've never seen a second of She-Hulk, but I have heard others talk about it. Sargon made a good point that the writers have made the show itself into a dialogue with nerd tube, and the writers are losing in their own show.

truth by power

In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. In their totality and in their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat which demands the solidarity of all peoples. But in designating them as the enemy, we fall into the trap about which we have already warned, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.

Bernard Holstein's book Stolen Soul claims the Nazis had lethal masturbation machines.

The book Inside The Concentration Camps is a collection of first hand accounts from holocaust survivors that claims Auschwitz had a mine cart roller coaster into furnaces.

Jankiel Wiernik and his book A Year In Treblinka is practically the only source for the Treblinka death camp, and he claims the Nazis suffocated Jews in giant vacuum chambers before switching to a captured Soviet diesel tank engine. Adolph Eichmann testified that it was actaully a captured Soviet diesel submarine engine drug all the way from the Baltic.

Make of that what you will.

You will believe in the masturbation machines and the roller coaster and the machine that sucks the air out of the room.

Hate watching is 100% okay as long as you pirate

Imagine still thinking that any of this is about money in current year. The enemy is still dictating your behavior and thoughts. You watch what they want you to watch and get mad in the way they want you to get mad. Find something healthy and productive to do, which would actually be an act of rebellion.

Don't put the burden of proof on yourself to prove that self-evidently insane pedos are insane pedos. Ask them to name a queer/sexual theorist that condemns pedos. Ask them to name a single prominent activist that condemns pedos. It is extremely notable that the proponents only say, "it's not happening," or, "evil nazis pounce," instead of, "pedos deserve the chipper." It should also be noted that pedos are baked into antifascism too, and thus, within the progressive framework, everyone who opposes pedos is definitionally a fascist.

crime of having sex

It's always framed as if women are incapable of agency in the process, and I'm inclined to agree. This alone justifies patriarchy.

Itkis is all about legalizing sex work, so that's how he rolls.

If sex work is real work, what is wrong with a boss ordering a blow job from his secretary the same way he would get a coffee? It's just work.
