initially I was against the satirical nonsense of this gay-ass play, but you're right. There's a reason why comedians are some of the first to voice uncomfortable truths in this world. It's using humor and entertainment to guide public opinion.
So agreed, opening up dialog about what really happened during WWII and victim narratives is a good thing
This is kinda based. Think about the guys who built this country. They tended to be fiery, principled men who weren't afraid to have a beef with someone. Heck, once we had a caning on the floor of the US Senate
Muslims are more dangerous than Jews just due to the sheer number of them. Still to this day, I would rather live in a western country infiltrated by Jews over a Muslim nation. I'd rather live in Israel over a Muslim nation. Literally all Islam results in hate. destruction of your neighborhood, poor social bonds, because Muslims hate themselves and are trying to earn salvation through ruining their life
I agree with this, too. I know someone who antagonizes anyone who gets close to her, is incredibly narcissistic, and has zero self reflection. By all accounts she is falling apart, is a financial wreck, has no friends, doesn't go outside, is depressed. If anyone reaches out to her, she thinks they are lonely and talks "at" them for half an hour
If reddit were nuked, these mentally ill people would congregate somewhere else.
I certainly agree with that. There is no point in supporting utopian ideals that wither yourself away. I'm just anti-blackpill
This happens every now and then. Some socially inept loser will think that guys who just hang with each other must be gay, because that loser has never had a friendship. There is no consideration of what someone else wants in a friendship in their eyes. They only consider using someone else for sexual gratification
If you haven't heard, the muslim guy responsible for the Lockerbie Boeing 747 terrorist bombing got out of jail recently. We don't collectively punish this enough.
The free marketplace of ideas may be dead, but that doesn't mean we should stop fighting for it. Courage is knowing the odds are bleak, but continuing forward anyway.
Don't take the blackpill
Love the sinner not the sin: This is true in the same way "Free Love" in 1 cor is true.
Never compromise on morals. But loving a sinner can be allowing them to face the earthly consequences of their sins while you preach the gospel to them. Like Kirk did a lot, our motivations, our meaning, our mentality can all be traced back to good vs evil, the Bible. So speak the truth, and be very discerning who you help and are generous towards. In doing so, you pray that they repent to Jesus before their soul is lost forever.
How do you know if they repent? Repentance involves real change. Nobody who recognizes the full debt of their sin keeps living in sin.
Ideally we have a justice system that actually punishes evil
Those that say this 100% have never had a friend. Or a wife. Or loved anyone outside of him/herself
Anime, video games, and pets are forms of escapism. Nothing will get better if we keep consuming escapism. Step up and take your place in the world
I wouldn't do this. We can't diminish the meaning of our words. That's why the terms facist, racist, sexist, abuse, sexual assault, nazi don't mean anything anymore. We need to use language wisely to accurately describe the problem at hand, or all our discourse will lose its meaning. Let's not exaggerate. If we are to make a claim like "reddit is a terrorist organization," at least write up why, and compare it to the legal definition of terrorism
Homeschooling regularly crushes both public and private school in standardized tests. Even outside of that, they have an excellent grasp of critical thinking. There are isolated cases of poorly socialized kids growing up when being homeschooled. However I have also seen worse out of public and private schools. Think the chronically online, discord and reddit types.
No education system will be perfect. Considering a bunch of poorly funded homeschoolers, with no formal collegiate training in teaching, can best the results of the public and private schools with huge budgets is a telling result
Agreed. Hopefully we'll see a streisland effect come from this
What an awesome dude
