I think as always "it depends".
On one hand, Christianity was undeniably a dominant force in Western culture and it's impossible to divorce it entirely from the golden age of Vidya we all long for. The archetypal hero and self sacrifice we often call for is rooted in those ideals and whether we are religious or not.
On the other hand, I don't think there's any value to Bible study passages and I would be ok with banning those posts.
That's where I'd draw the line anyway, though there's certainly an argument for some passage study. The recent video I linked to is a long those lines in that it uses biblical passages to demonstrate that it was in fact the result of absorption of even older cultures (Canaanites) and their stories.

To your point: I agree entirely that the companies don't care about making profit from consumers when they get ESG bucks (that are really just interest payments from tax tax dollars).
This is why it's completely ridiculous to think that movies like "little mermaid" must reach a certain box office threshold - they never needed success at the box office. They just needed an ESG threshold to keep the investment money flowing in.
