I mean, this isn't a Catholic church, the only churches the Pope has control over...
True but with the way things seem to be going it seems like it won't be long till we are seeing the same degeneracy there. Heck, the Christians can't even keep themselves from being slaughtered in areas where the militant Islamists are on the march. Has the Church even called out Islamic leaders over that stuff? If so I haven't heard a peep about it.
It seems that the further I age the better the choice I made as a youth to be a non believer, was the right choice for me.
(I always explain the language of "non believer" since that may be a head scratcher to people. I associate "atheist" with militant leftists who single out Christianity for their ire as per decades of my observations. I don't share that sentiment and I want nothing to do with those people. That said, get rid of the disgusting commie pope please. So in short, the concept of god simply doesn't add up in my view, I have no need to be a militant Christian hating asshole about it.)
I don't recall seeing her before but I just watched this release from her. I like the fact that she was really concise and brief in addition to drawing a hard principled (given the topic) line in the sand. So I just subbed her channel.
Electric cars as a commute device in a city are in my view pretty bad unless you have a lot of money to burn. The much better solution is an electric scooter and even better than that (although more niche) is an electric unicycle.
Both the scooter and the EUC are portable door to door solutions and they both can be supplemented by public transportation. A car of any kind is just a big headache in a major city and should only be used if you really can't use other options.
This is proven by the fact that lower-scoring men had superior education outcomes for their students.
Men generally surpass women in wisdom and being able to naturally motivate children (both male & female) to aspirational goals. I don't say that with malice towards women. I say that because it has a track record of being true.
- In trucks it is or has become common to have onboard cameras running 24/7.
- I wouldn't be surprised if the owner of the vehicle got a notification that the charger had been unplugged, at least that is how I would set these up for this very obvious reason. In fact there should be comms between the vehicle and charger anyway for battery status.
- You don't have to like them but leave people's stuff alone.
This has to be some sort of vicious cycle. A social researcher needs to get in contact with the parents (almost certainly a single mother of her own choice and yes I would put a cash bet on this) in order to find out their motivations which I already expect will be devoid of or incongruous with any rational thought process.
And while I'm betting I will put more money that a significant motivator here is the knowledge that men have no chance in the current family court system in the west as it has been completely corrupted which is the major driver of what is allowing females to make incredibly bad choices for themselves and their children.
They will probably survive unless the owners are seen as outsiders and become targeted when prices have to be made high enough to remain profitable, IE outpace cost expectations of area residents.
In especially bad areas the owners don't even allow people inside. The patrons have to approach riot windows and ask for what they want. The attendant goes and gets it, the patron puts in cash (these days with debit cards being ubiquitous they will have to have a means to accept payment that way as well) and then the attendant puts the item into a rotating box for the patron to get the item/s.
Life long NYC resident here so I've already seen the low points of prior decades.
I'm sorry you had to go through this but here is my long view take on it. A lot of people were taken in by the scamdemic, they may .. or may not .. figure this out later. You can hope that they do but only time will tell.
In the meantime the most important thing you can do is carry on with your life. That's it. Nothing magical and no epic ending. Just keep on keeping on.
That said I will of course be spending my future years reminding the dims (tactfully and through Socratic method..) that they had the wrong take all along. I will know that they know when they do either of two things. They admit it upfront, or they go radio silent anytime the topic is even hinted at.
Live long and prosper...
