Same questions as u/Kienan. What Archive Library are you talking about?
Why get jealous for Christianity and frame it as “Brown people mad”? They’re absolutely right.
The fact that people can be manipulated isn’t so much a problem of framing issues as moral issues but rather of people’s lack of a moral center, which arguably could be a result of loss of religion. Morality serves to facilitate a successful society. If laws aren’t based on morality, then what are they based on?
The power of the people collectivized in the state is often more efficient at achieving widespread results than individual effort. Propagators of obscene material in public are offenders who can easily do harm to large numbers of people but cannot be easily stopped without state authority.
You should elaborate on how these statements are wrong.
The laws of the state should reflect the morals of the society. The power of the people collectivized in the state is often more efficient at achieving widespread results than individual effort. Propagators of obscene material in public are offenders who can easily do harm to large numbers of people but cannot be easily stopped without state authority.
The idea of giving parents a harder time protecting their children is a politically easy solution, but it’s not conducive to a good, successful society.
What happens when the employers are also like that?
We’d assume that they’re referencing Trump, but they could be talking about any perceived rightist dictatorial figure. A lot of neo-Nazis claim that “the next Hitler has already been born” like he’s a coming Messiah.
It is certainly an interesting portrayal, but the film portrays him as a leader more worried about his legacy than his country as he ignores the needs of his people and avoids consequences by committing suicide.
To be fair, there’s no moral perspective from which to argue in favor of panty raids.
It’s open, FYI.
Politics aside, that’s a good parody.
These aren’t all bad points. You should know life-saving skills besides how to shoot, and having an arsenal can make you a greater target in a chaotic situation. Those are things to consider for survival. Out of the context that this is meant to prove that gun ownership is pointless, this meme isn’t really incorrect.
If you think books and films have the same issue with sexual deviancy as manga, you might be right even though that’s not how it seems to me. Doesn’t change the problem with manga.
I think about half of these accounts are bots.
The film and book markets have their own problems, but the sexual deviancy isn’t as severe as in manga.
As a matter of fact, a lot of those grim serious fantasy action mangas and funny haha slice of life mangas do have shoehorned sexual deviancy, because that’s how the manga market is.
He’s not so much calling out the medium as sexually deviant; he’s arguably accurately identifying the manga community as sexually deviant.
It’s a shame how the reputation of the first game in the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot is soiled by the impact of the second and third games. The first game is genuinely a great game with beautiful aesthetics and good writing, and it really shouldn’t be considered part of a trilogy—a series, unavoidably, but not a trilogy—with the latter two. Lara Croft looks like a complete different person in Tomb Raider 2013, and so does Jonah. In every regard besides the rendering technology, it’s as if the developers purposefully made things bland.
It’s funny that you can find numerous posts on the Tomb Raider subreddit like this that carefully prod into the subject of why the main characters look different, and the response is usually the excuse that “the technology improved” or “she got older.”
Along the vein of archaeological adventure games, the Uncharted series also suffered quite a bit with A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy, which had all the main characters—Nate, Sully, Elena, Chloe—looking almost unrecognizable, and less attractive, compared to how they looked in 1, 2 and 3.
Way too much. It’s so exaggerated that it’s rather nauseating. It’s the ugliness achieved by plastic surgery.
These comments are crazy.
Some of these complaints might be unfounded, but a giant, bright sign like that can be very obnoxious and bad for the eyes, especially if it has PWM flicker.
