Wokes could make a game purely about robots vs some alien bugs, and still put some black women into it because "muh representation and diversity". And they would obviously be the heroes.

Oh wait. no they can't, they can't create anything, only steal and corrupt what was already created.

I see a lot of confusion everywhere on that verse (even here or on that video's comment). I don't claim to have the answer, but I'll still share a few verses:

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?

Matthew 5:43-48

But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.

Luke 6:27-28

Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

1 Peter 3:9

It's not your job to hate people, and it's not your job to make justice either. If you want to show how great God's mercy and love is, then you have to share it around as well. Hate the sin, love the people.

With that said, there's plenty of confusion on what love is as well, but I have the same conclusion as people here though on that topic. It's not love if you see someone get hurt and do nothing yourself to stop that. It's also not love if you see someone in the wrong, and actually encourage them to stay that way or just straight-up lie to them to make them feel good. It's also not love either if your let your child do whatever he wants without limits. etc.

Love is sometimes about being harsh with your words to tell the truth

“No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

John 8:11

Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

Matthew 10:37-38

And we all know the many words Jesus had when he talked with the Pharisees and such, cause they used the Law and the opportunities given by God for their own interest. Jesus was loving of his people, but he wasn't always nice.

And following the market is why gaming is so fucking bad now. Gamers have no self control and will buy everything as long as it's a little above garbage. So yeah no, I'll absolutely blame gamers for buying shit, but I'll also blame developers that try to abuse this as well and increase the price of their game for no reason.

Factorio was already a huge success, it's not like they need more money, they already have enough for their entire life.

2
Noctuner 2 points ago +2 / -0

I wouldn't say incredibly based. They had a big "We support Ukraine" moment https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/we-support-ukraine , and have shown to be quite anti-consumers at times, like how they permanently increase the price of the game "because of inflation", even though the game was out for years already.

Is that what I said? Or did I say that the sensitivity is the same.

You 17 hours ago:

As someone that has actually lost a finger tip, trust me, you don’t even notice the difference

Yes, that is what you said. There's no noticeable difference, so it's at best an useless part of the body. If it's useless, we can cut it then, right? Same for the ears, you won't notice if it's gone, so we can cut it too, right?

far greater when looking at penile cancer, especially when you look at the fact adult circumcision carries far more negatives and harm when having to remove the foreskin that is potentially cancerous.

Or you could simply keep better hygiene. The only difference between the 2 are smegma and phimosis, both easily preventable by correct hygiene (which shouldn't be a problem in any western countries).

We can apply the same logic with teeth, for instance. Bad mouth hygiene = very bad outcomes, potentially fatal. Should we remove all teeth from anyone then and replace them with fake removable teeth? As long as you have any teeth, even fake, you can still eat and chew like usual, so why bother keeping the real ones anyway? And it saves all those people from bad mouth hygiene!

1
Noctuner 1 point ago +1 / -0

So you're actually fine (or at the very least neutral) if we cut the finger tips of all newborn from now on then, right? There's no difference, and it's just skin, so why bother keeping it?

Also let's cut some skin around the ears, while we're at it.

it's using your disparity in size and strength to force compliance.

I'd really like to hear how you would educate children correctly then. Do you prepare a meeting through emails and prepare some powerpoints presentation for them or something?

Also, there are times when you will yell at your child simply because he's doing or playing with something dangerous and needs to be stopped immediately. Those can happen at any moment with children.

Noctuner 12 points ago +13 / -1

Especially if it is particularly violent, or protected by law enforcement, socially acceptable, or done to children which leave long lasting damage.

The 3 men that attacked, beat him violently, kidnapped him a short distance, raped him, then sodomized him with a crowbar, and proceeded to bludgeon him within an inch of his life, and left him to die.

Well sure, but you're also adding plenty of crimes other than rape in that too. That's not just rape anymore, it's brutal assault + pedophilia + kidnapping + murder attempt. Remove the rape part in your example, and anyone would still be scared for life after such an event.

Sure 5 minutes of rape is "very optimistic", but even if it's longer, if it's "just" rape and nothing else, it would still be the better choice.

Microsoft pays developers so they can put their games on Gamepass, but it’s literally just base games, so you still have to pay for DLC, which Microsoft makes money off of.

Ah good, that means MS will make sure games have has many DLCs as possible. Cause it's not enough already.

Apparently a lot of people use Gamepass as a demo before buying games

The fact that people are willing to pay for a demo is just sad, but very telling how modern gamers.

Devs like the marketing that gamepass gives them.

Free marketing, maybe at the beginning of gameplay, but it won't last long. Reminds me of how everyone rushed to get their games on the Switch cause it was bare-bone in games, and it became over-saturated in an instant with trash games, hopefully MS knows better (same happened with EGS, first their curated games, but now it's free for all).

You're just comparing peak number of the entire week. That's fine, but I don't think it's representative of the whole thing, because it means anything big happening on said week end will impact your number greatly.

It's hard to tell how many copies sold on Steam, we only can see timestamp player counts, but I'm going to guess it was under a million copies.

For some rough estimations, I like to use Steam review count.

BG3 sold 5.2 millions on PC in August, and had at the time about 200 000 reviews. That's about 1 review per 26 sales. It varies quite a bit from game to game (niche games obviously tend to have higher for instance), but I generally use 1 review per 30 or 40 sales.

Starfield has 61536 reviews at this time, so if it has the same player behavior as BG3 (both are still narrative-driven RPGs, so should be fairly close in theory), that's about 1.6m sales. Not a total failure, but for the hype behind it, it feels underwhelming so far.

Gamepass is $10/mo. Steam takes 30% of sales. If Starfield doesn't bring new blood to Gamepass, it doesn't make money. Bethesda would need a new player to pay for gamepass for 4 months to match what they'd make selling a full retail copy on Steam.

I still don't understand the business perspective behind Gamepass. They must be losing tons of potiential money. Many people jumped on Starfield because it's the trend of moment, but next month, they will jump on something else. So for all those people, Starfield only cost 1 month of gamepass at most (and that's assuming they didn't even play anything else in the entire month too, otherwise it will split the money even more). I'm quite afraid of a big company that's willing to lose that much money to be honest, they are prepared to eat the cost for years to make sure gamepass is powerful enough to shape the industry and gain some kind of monopoly in that area, and make sure players don't care anymore about owning games.

Nah, even if you compare the blue Starfield line with BG3's line at its first wave, it's still the almost exact same downward trend. It's just harder to see because the orange line is higher, but use some image editor and you'll see it's the same.

Female: Sexual individual producing egg cell/ovum gamete.

I'm not sure why I would use "woman" in the definition of "female", since it's a very broad biological term that applies to many different species.

If you're going the road of "Yes but then you need to define [that word]", you're going into an never-ending loop which is the left's specialty (and you will lose). What is a gamete? What is an egg? What is "What"? Eventually you'll lose track of what you were talking about, and they will get away with it.

If your definition already has exceptions in it, you're just confusing everyone (and it will be used against you in such debates). An exception, by definition (haha), is not the norm, so it shouldn't be included into it.

I also don't like going the chromosome way personally, I feel like it's just a trap in general, and there are better ways to handle this (which is why I use the female term, since anyone instinctively knows it goes beyond the human-specie, even children understand it).

Noctuner 27 points ago +27 / -0

What really angers me about this question is that the people never seem to be able to give a straight answer themselves.

Yeah, cause "Adult female human" is not a straight definitive answer that even a child can understand.

It sounds like you just got one, dude

Wow, assuming gender much? In [CURRENT YEAR]? Bunch of sexist misogynists in that room.

Also shout out to using "chromosomally" twice in 2 sentences.

Yep, random memes on the internet is "unsubstantiated propaganda", but having LGBT books in schools, having pride months then pride week then pride days, or basically forcing companies to adopt ESG policies, that's not propaganda at all, that's just "Progress".

  1. You can only "Counter-attack" if you've been attacked. France was not attacked yet when they declared war to Germany and prepared for initial attack. In fact, it was called "Drole de guerre" at the beginning because even though Germany and France were at war, there was barely any conflict.

  2. Renault (French company) was the main supplier of the French army (actual Renault founder got a medal because he was also main supplier during WW1). Otherwise, they also used a bunch of other French companies (Citroen, CLM, etc.) or form other countries like UK. So even if Ford was out, they still had the majority of their armies

  3. Even if they had no vehicles, French lost pathetically because they put all their forces on the "Ligne Maginot", and the German simply went around through Belgium. In fact, it would have maybe made things a little bit faster and reduce losses. If you're going to make such a bad analogy, at least take any other country than France which lost the war in 2 months.

  4. It obviously has nothing to do with civilian-owned intelligence system, which is what Elon is about. It's not "Your army', it's not part of the military force (contrary to army trucks and tanks, or rifles, etc.), it's just some civilian-owned system that the military want to use but have no control over. If Elon Musk was actively building Starlink only for the military as part of their force, then it would be very different. But it's not the case. That's like if the military was using X for their main communication system, Elon would have 100% right to say "Look, I'm going to get killed and my company bombed by your stupid shit, I'm not the army, so get your shit together and get off my platform". Somethinh similar happened though, remember when Ukraine soldiers were bombed because people showed their location on Reddit? Whoops. Almost as if civilian stuff aren't made for war.

Well, if we're going this route, let's add all the MMORPGs with PVPs then, since like 80% of all characters are female.

Guy uses his popular channel to help more poor people

  • That's bad, cause he's white and he's just profiting off poor helpless people for his personal gain.

Big Pharma makes billions off selling vaccine against ongoing pandemic, causes some side-effects, then sells medicine against said side effects for additional billions as pocket money.

  • That's good, they deserve all that money.

Politician makes empty promises like paying off student debts just to get votes then sleeps all day

  • That's good, at least no mean tweet.

Don't play their games. Make fun of them then move on. You'll never win against a cheater's own game.

Clown world has no peak.

Hey look, I'm a woman now, and I want to compete against other women because I identify as one

"Perfect mental state and must be valorized by the whole society."

Hey hum, those death spikes look weird, weren't vaccines and lockdowns supposed to "flatten the curve" like we've been told for the past 3 years?

"Dangerous and mentally unstable, must be approached with at least 4 armed police-people*"

*The use of "Policemen" is considered hate speech and is punished with at least 4 years of jail, depending of your current social credit score.

I think the worst part, is that you know the guy behind that anonymous tip is 100% convinced what he did was the good thing to do, and will do it again.

Granted I'm switching it up to suit my argument but if we're going to be that specific I'd call it a form of non-sentient life.

Sentience is the ability to feel physical things. If someone was unable to feel things for longer period of time, just like how, for instance, a few people on Earth don't feel pain at all, do you call them non-sentient and you think their mothers can "abort" them just for that?

More generally speaking, why is the ability to feel pain or pleasure be the argument for whether or not you can or can't kill a baby? I really don't see how the 2 are connected at all. Is a human, to you, just defined by their nervous system?

  1. If we all do it, no more racism cuz that shit's really really really stupid.

Funny, leftists have no problem calling you racist even if you're married to someone from a different race. It also shows a big misunderstanding on why races exist to begin with. As long as people lives on different place of the Earth, they will naturally evolve around their environment. But then again, if leftists were actual science followers, they wouldn't be leftist.

Oil is actually fairly hard to burn. You need very precise mix or air, oil and heat. The popular movie thing of throwing a lit match into oil actually does nothing. Look up how pistons work in a car engine, it's very interesting, and the mechanics behind are impressive.

Secondly, it's fairly easy to empty a fuel car before transportation, if it was ever a problem, just re-fuel at the arrival. How do you transport an EV without its battery? Do you just buy a brand new battery on arrival which cost 60% of the price of the car? And you leave the old one behind to be disposed off in the garbage?
