The entire dialogue is awful. When I play an RPG I want to be immersed into another world with a different yet recognizable speech pattern. Instead what we get here is something akin to "OMG the king is such a chud!" "Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Maybe if he was, I dunno, like a decent human being, things would be better. But right now it's like 'yikes!'."
Even the decades old Ultima series had lines like "'Tis my worst fear! I must send thee to a dangerous place! Hail, Avatar!" And I liked that just fine; I would even be willing to look up words that I never heard before because they just aren't widely used today.
This was a skit? It looked like a painfully long orange Hitler bad rant peppered with laughter so they wouldn't get in trouble.
We need to hold their feet to the fire. "Oh you want more money and protection from us? Then here's a ton of stuff you need to do for us first. By the way we're slowly closing the purse strings regardless so you'd better figure out how to be self-sustaining as you should have been all along."
And if they say "No deal, you capitalist pigdog!" then we say "Ok, no more foreign aid. Enjoy defending yourself from Putin and funding your universal healthcare."
"That's not evidence and it's all still a conspiracy theory REEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"
I think it also has demonic influences. What could be more innocent and corruptible than a baby?
Blue-haired overweight 17 year old redditor with a 2.9 GPA be like "Those ancient philosophers are so dumb! I could outdebate all of them anywhere anytime!"
Those darn grocers and their secret rooms where the mega computer with all the food price dials are...they just love to turn them and watch people get upset in all the hidden store cameras!
I'm expecting more before January because the people who hold the reigns of power are starting to transition from stunned into pissed off mode; especially the ones who are getting kicked out.
Higher gas prices and higher prices across the board, Antifa riots, dems trying to take the house any way possible, last-minute attempts by warlords to gain territory, sabotage, executive orders made to tie Trump's hands, lots of documents getting lost, burned and shredded before the next administration can investigate corruption...
Reminds me of that picture of Trump sitting with arms folded at a table across from other world leaders who were glaring at him.
Most of the rest of the world hates this outcome. The freebies and wars will soon be over, fellas!
I rarely find answers to technical questions on reddit anyway. I search on Google and among the first results are links to reddit. I go to those links; most are dead ends with no answers. Most replies consist of "Why are you asking this question?" or "bumping for interest" or "did you ever find the answer?" or "you're doing it wrong" or even "that's a good question. can you help me with my project?" Maybe 1 in 20 actually have useful information I run with.
And when they can't find an answer they like, they go to Wikipedia. And if they can't find a page they like, they edit one.
Especially more seats with Trumpers than RINO's.
I won't forget in the GWB administration how reps with the majorities acted like they were powerless. Then the Dems swept the government with Obama and they racked up one legislative victory after another.
"Say, that Trump fellow won the election yesterday." "Oh? I voted for Harris. Her policies would have benefitted me more than Trump." "I voted for Trump's because his policies benefit me more than Harris. Especially the prospect of removing unnecessary government programs." "One of those programs is helping me, actually." "Oh? Tell me more."
This is the rational discourse we would have had if democrat leaders weren't such spiteful bastards and deranged lunatics had not been beating the orange hitler drums for over eight damn years.
They're so triggered that they're showing their true colors without any semblance of objectivity or even self-control.
I'm seeing this in other places I didn't expect, too. Successful business owners on LinkedIn are announcing strategic changes to "avoid supporting fascism" whatever the hell that means. Any time someone writes "We all need to have a civil conversation" there's always at least one reply like "You're right. Even though we elected an orange cheeto felon mega-hitler we need to be civil."
I also don't like walking on eggshells around triggered people. If they really think Trump is going to personally line gays up in front of a firing squad then they should be challenged and mocked for such absurdity. "But Trump said..." Is your sarcasm detector broken or is it only okay for the left to be sarcastic?
I usually avoid reddit but I can't help myself today. I'm anonymously viewing the politics sub, and most posters actually believe this is a completely legitimate chart with no chance of fraud whatsoever. The rest are saying "this doesn't make sense but I'm still believing it 100%."
They also still care with Bernie Sanders thinks.
The very first thing I would ask him to do is free the J6'ers. And have the people responsible for sending them to the gulag and the people who mistreated them getting the same treatment for four years.
Alternative media > MSM.
Speaking of which, where did all those 80 million Democrat votes go? It's like a huge chunk of the entire base from 2020 stayed home? /s
Waiting on triggered leftists to play "American Idiot" on repeat...
The whole thing. Think of it like a history book that begins with a chapter or two about writings from various religions on how the universe and Earth were created, and "heroes of old" like titans and monsters. Then it explains what all was going on in the world from the time God first spoke to Abram through the end of the Old Testament. I remember reading that Egypt cycled between greatness and crappiness throughout their dynasties. I think the Assyrians were a force to reckon with for centuries, too. And there was often fighting going on...our World War 1 is really closer to World War 100.
Currently reading Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky. Before that I read Archaeology and the Old Testament by Hoerth, and A Tale of Two Cities before that.
Strange combination but I like to switch it up between popular novels and history books.
"Elon made no comment upon us reaching out to him. Which can only mean that he knows he's doing something evil."
"Oh man I wish there were nazis in this room so I could punch them!" (Audience stands up and cheers)
"I just really wanna punch nazis right now!" (Spirit of Karl Marx appears on stage and brofists Biden)
"I want to punch a nazi so bad!" (all the stars from Inglourious Basterds stand up in the front row and loudly applaud) (Almond milk and avocado toast falls from the rafters) (Crowd chants "Vote Blue no matter who!")
The system is set up against all of us. Welfare not only pays for people unwilling to work, but is a major contributing factor for the rise of the single-parent family and all the bad things that come from that. Welfare is like the drug dealer on the street that so many people think and feel they need to survive. And the drug seems so good that even people who don't take it think it's great.
Stop the welfare and there will be a major withdrawal at first (an increase in crime and violence); but over time things will get better. Certainly better than when welfare was around.
They should be arrested.
