They see prejudice in blades of grass and little rocks along the creek.

This is what they wanted from the start. Now they can live out all their fetishes while women who complain will get hit with additional charges of obstruction and bigotry.

As long as those perverts all go Bluesky or other obscure social site and stay off popular ones like X, Facebook and Reddit, I'm okay with their self-containment policy.

I'm also surprised this is even happening; I honestly expected popular social media sites to begin allowing more smut because of how clown world things were getting.

It's a little of everything, but the biggest influence is one's ego I think. People who are very self-centered and have little self-control usually appear more aged and miserable. People who tend to be selfless, unmaterialistic, and avoid bad influences seem to barely age until they get well over the hill.

Maybe it's attempted retribution for all the millions of potential revenue lost from gamers rejecting woke games this year. Those alt-right gamers need to be put in their place, so the knives are out.

Bonus round: Here is a picture of a skeleton of a 1,000 year old person. Are they male or female? Hint: Here are pictures of two more skeletons; one male anatomy and the other female anatomy, clearly labeled.

I don't understand why he picked Dr. Oz for a top health position, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it because I'm not in the "he must pass my purity test" camp. To them I say good luck waiting several generations or longer for someone who fits their belief system and makes the perfect picks 100% of the time.

The icing on the cake is that when they get caught, they actually defend it. "It's not about the accuracy of the footage; it's about the message we're trying to communicate." Or even "it would look something like that."

Those "journos" have no business being anywhere near a news desk.

RFK needs to do one of those obvious self-pwn corrections.

RFK: "Fruit Loops have over 40 harmful chemicals in them!"

NYT: "Correction: Only 32 chemicals are listed as harmful."

I'm still puzzling over the timing of it all. Why now? Is it because 2024 was a year of failed projects that tried to push the "modern message?" Was there a straw that broke the camel's back? And why do so many game journos even care about the ADL? (well we know the answer to that one, but surely gamers who don't must be wondering)

Exactly this. Unfortunately bad guys have been neutered for "modern audiences." They're not allowed to punch women let alone win a fight against them. They're not allowed to be smarter than female or minority protagonists, either.

I remember spending the first hour of the campaign just throwing bottles at NPC's. I also remember how much fun HL2:DM was; all everyone wanted to do was launch furniture at each other.

I can't believe they have the acumen to even set up a business. I've worked with very talented engineers and designers who have a political IQ of 60 and drop logic for emotion on a dime, and that still confounds me.

I'd rather have a small government that doesn't get in the way of people autistically collecting & publishing factual data about demography, crime, immigration, outcomes, health, economics, science, the natural world, climate, space, etc., etc., etc.

And if someone complains to that small government, the government's reply should be "That's your problem."

Maybe it's just me but the first two things I do before I get "comfy" is put my phone down and walk away from the computer.

You may have heard the phrase "politics Is downstream from culture" but the fact is culture is downstream from the Church. Jesus said that the Church is the salt of the Earth, but the modern Church has lost its saltiness. I think that is the core reason why we have so many problems in this country right now. My pastor also claimed only 1/3 of Christians go out and vote. If true, that's a real eye opener to me.

Me too. Trump's team is well aware of it and I expect them to use their clout to push those confirmations. Elon is even threatening to throw lots of money at primarying out all the reps who don't play ball.

These seem like banana republic tactics, but dammit I want my country back.

Just like how one exceedingly suspect asshole convinced the government that all fatty foods are bad. They had a heavy hand on putting the country on the road to obesity.

Paying $12 for someone to drive around town consuming gas and adding wear and tear to their car to pick me up an overpriced burnt cup of coffee just does not compute. And unless the X post was facetious, I think the poster has mental issues.

They're going to become inconsolable when they have to write stories about all of Trumps picks; especially Elon.

If they bring back their 30 minute hard news format and actually try to not be biased, I would watch them on YouTube here and there.
