So I wrote a tampermonkey script to disable the side image. I would set a path so when I hover over the daily image it would show boobies from a local file, but decided against it in case others want the script for themselves.

About 8 years ago I stopped giving a particular firearm advice online that I always get really positive feedback from users who tried it would come back and tell me it really helped with their grouping.
Stupidly, I was giving these tips on forums and on reddit. One I noticed what a liberal shithole reddit is* I deleted past comments and never gave that advice again.

Superman in World's Finest (old school Batman Superman comics) was captured by a fictional country Lubania. in 2022ish they retconned it where they implied he was sodomized during torture sessions .
I didn't read the disgusting comic but there was a post about it here during that time and the plot as far as I could tell is Clark going to Lubania to interview some general and the general was one of his (Superman's) captors. And there is a sequence of panels that shows during the interview Clark raises his glasses and laser blast the general in a fit of rage only to show Clark imagined it and remained composed AND OBJECTIVE to a man who fucking raped his bootycheeks.

Pretty sure the enslaving aliens are allegory for the their twisted version of the right with a spin where instead of aliens coming to them, they go to the aliens.
Wew, having said that, I read some Batman, Action Comics, and Catwoman and they're all about on par with late 2000s early 2010s quality comics, which is like early 2000s but with forced diversity and visible quota of woke agenda checklist that leaves a taint on the comics.
I wouldn't spend money on it, I'd read the TPB for free at libraries or from a friend who still buys.
My LCS closed 2020, but it was already on its way out, the other LCS is now a LGS/merch store with a rack of comics and boxes of old comics that they raised the price on.

oof, I don't remember most of that. I wasn't going to go back and watch it but man, pre-gamergate me just didn't pay attention to that kind of stuff.
I do remember the man guy killing his left-hand man and the ship crashed and they're marooned at the end of the season and I didn't really care about what happened next and never bothered with the second season.
I think there's a decent amount of western films and shows being made. I'm not in the industry but I imagine as far as budget goes it's pretty cheap to make a western, remote settings, limited cast, little to no special effects, budget friendly armorer, very cost friendly to churn out by comparison to other genres.
Pirate and nautical has way more production cost and logistics. Again, I'm channeling my inner Cliff Clavin, but I think Pirates of the Caribbeans, like Marvel hero flicks, CoD, and Walking Dead, is so big and mainstream those trying to get in on the fad end up losing their asses because people in general don't care about genre, they just want something good with mainstream appeal.
What the fuck do I know, my media consumption consist mostly of 80s to early 2000s sitcoms. Oh, recently binged Love Boat, DO NOT binge the Love Boat! it has the same string background music and you end up getting the tetris effect. Other than that, what an easy turn off your brain, have it on in the background while you play work type of show.
I only watched season one of Black Sails and thought it was pretty gritty depiction of pirates. I can't fully recommend it since I watched it in 2014 and I honestly don't know how woke it is, I do recall watching the entire first season so it can't be that bad. I would recommend you watch the first episode and see if it's your pace.
And not pirate themed but Master and Commander is just a great movie.

Brutal Legend sucked and I was really looking forward to play the game. The gameplay shift a quarter of the way in to focus on what can now be considered a mobile game strategy game was especially galling.
