See, I don't think they have a reason to (to make more at least, as they already have a decent amount of mobile ones, mostly pokemon). Sure it may get them slightly more people buying their games, but they'd lose out on a bit of the console market.
If someone buys a switch and only gets like 4-5 games for it, that's still way more than if a whale dropped $4-500 on one of the gatcha mobile things.
Even if they do create a switch "successor" it'll probably be after a bunch of remodels, like what they did with the DS and the XL's/slims/"lite's". The thing's been around for what, like 6-7 years? I'd say they still have a decent amount of runway before they have to think of creating a new console.
You also kinda have to think we'll see a mass migration to nintendo stuff next year if things get extremely bad, with people wanting "classics" and them being almost solely what they've done for the past 10 years.
Like I still think gaming as a whole is a lot like the mineshaft/canary thing where companies keep digging for diamonds but refuse to change their direction, but if one company can capitalize on this market it's definitely nintendo.
It wouldn't take much creativity though, that's the thing. I came up with all of that in 2-3minutes and have spent much of the past year working on car stuff. If I can do that, surely these "more dedicated" artists could do better, right?
See, I wouldn't have minded mexican spiderman if they had given him slightly different superpowers and not just made him an exact clone. Like imagine if he was bitten by a different kind of spider and instead of gaining web-powers he instead became larger/way stronger, like a turantula/"hulk", or got bitten by one of those burrowing spiders and gained the ability to dissolve into the earth like ellen page's character from xmen 3. Much like all media now, they refuse to go outside the box and just stick to the same shit we saw 20 years ago.
"She is also responsible for a law requiring all japanese videos to feature a chicken with a fashionable neck decoration in them. These so called "Hen-Tie" rules have since inspired countless americans to waste their lives watching japanese videos instead of getting actual girlfriends."
See, for me the deferred money makes a lot of sense when you look at where he came from. Him/trout were making a ton of money on an angels team that was doing fuck all for the last 5-10 years, and refused to add a supporting cast behind him. I think he realized that his career will mean nothing without a world series win, so he chose to push the money back/live off of endorsements and have them build a superteam.
See, I'm thinking it's a push from the gaming companies that try to use that site. Games like league or counterstrike can't exactly compete with the porn industry, and if they do people will inevitably side with the latter due to the sheer number of options the former has. It's like a few years back where if I remember right a bunch of MLB teams wanted a stricter salary cap under the guise of "better competition", but was actually because the yankees were making many of the teams irrelevant.
I'm just happy they're finally opening up about their true intentions instead of being in the closet about them. 40% of their site's "streamers" have onlyfans as their side-gig, including quite a lot of their supposed gaming ones which is usually just a butterfaced woman in her mid-30s wearing a bikini while playing candy crush. This entire twitch story reminds me of when the league of legends people, when criticized by their community for making countless high-cost skins, doubled down on it by making ones that cost on average $200 to get.
If I remember right it started with an extremely fat metroid streamer. Once he "turned", the rest of them followed suit, like a bunch of tranny zombies. In a bit of irony it's also when the massive swathe of pedo activity started among their group.
Oh, in the case of canada there's another variable involved: housing quality. The vast majority of the newer buildings they're making are done with poor materials and made by guys with minimal experience in the industry (gotta cut costs somewhere). One of my buddies has been in the construction industry for almost 15 years and did tours of a few of the buildings being put up in vancouver, and according to him these things will be lucky to last the next 10 years without significant foundation issues.
I mean I'd argue black vikings make way more sense than what is historically accurate. When you think of a small percentage of people raping, looting, and burning down buildings while also being seen as "cool" in culture, your first thought isn't white people.
See, I'd be a fan if they did a darker x-men movie with mystique being that elusive "trans" character who is constantly causing chaos. The issue would be that I don't think they'd go dark enough to include scenes that'd make the audience hate them, like having her transform into dead former x-men/sleeping with their spouses, leading said characters towards suicide after they found out they were duped.
I mean "we" aren't going to vote for it, they'll rig the elections like what happened in the states.
