I’m not even sure that’s it’s activision to blame for all of this. I think activision is to blame for all the paid pets, mounts, and transmogs. But some of this is just hiring no talent rainbow mafia members which blizzards HR probably pushed for without any goading from activision.
Watch some of the new companies formed by Blizzard alum this June. I saw one of them a while back offering internships exclusively for lgbt(and whatever letters they have added on to it ). You would think brand new start ups that could afford interns would want the best interns. Not just interns who are specifically interested In having sex with the same sex
A lot of it probably stems from Disney saying they will fight a bill they passed. If the people elect a government that passes laws the people want, but a corporation can overturn it, who is governing at that point? The government elected by the people or the corporation. All the mouse had to do is stay quiet
It’s one thing to give a company that keeps investing in their business in your state a tax break since they were probably making Florida more money in tourists with each new ride, resort, or expansion. But as soon as the business starts talking about making it their duty to overturn laws….. it’s at that point the company thinks they are bigger than they are and they deserve to be knocked down a couple of pegs. The people of Florida vote on the law makers of Florida…. Not the Disney shareholders. And I bet a few of them are upset about chapek and co losing them money as well
It’s also their biggest park and I imagine most visited. 31 resort/hotels 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, not including golf courses and stuff associated with certain hotels, restaurants, shopping, etc. not only is it not feasible to move, what do you do with the old one when you do. You can’t sell it at land value for 2 reasons. One a chunk of it’s value is its proximity to a Disney park. And since it’s the park that removes that. And second the amount of demolition required to make the land useable would probably cost more than the land itself.
Yeah DC has a real homeless problem and it has had it my entire life. Capital police try to run them off for the most part during the day from the touristy parts, but as night falls they find their way back to park benches, store fronts, and monuments that are covered. It’s really bad.
Really should be bussing them back to Mexico City. Majority of illegals that pass through the Mexican border are from other central and South American countries and not actually Mexico at this point. Their border with Guatemala is much smaller and easier to secure. Really it’s easier to force Mexico to secure their southern border than ours. Texas places a state tax increase on all imports and exports to and from Mexico of $1000 for every illegal caught that presumably came through the southern border they would get Mexico to fix that problem real quick.
Gender really isn’t confusing for adults though. We have for some reason allowed society to be ruled by the perpetually offended and people with bad intentions have used what was our societies naive desire to be polite to one another as a cudgel to gain power.
Italian’s also don’t have a history of injecting themselves with hormones and having their genital mutilated and killings themselves at a higher rate than any other group. If only we were so lucky as to have children mistakenly claiming they are Italians.
