Yeah DC has a real homeless problem and it has had it my entire life. Capital police try to run them off for the most part during the day from the touristy parts, but as night falls they find their way back to park benches, store fronts, and monuments that are covered. It’s really bad.
Because that's a violation of federal law under the current regime. Moving them voluntarily prevents the feds from actually doing anything. These are ones they probably caught and gave the option this or indefinite detention while the courts decide who is in charge.

Really should be bussing them back to Mexico City. Majority of illegals that pass through the Mexican border are from other central and South American countries and not actually Mexico at this point. Their border with Guatemala is much smaller and easier to secure. Really it’s easier to force Mexico to secure their southern border than ours. Texas places a state tax increase on all imports and exports to and from Mexico of $1000 for every illegal caught that presumably came through the southern border they would get Mexico to fix that problem real quick.
I wish it was a simple as busing them back to Mexico City. The courts would stop this amusing sideshow so fast, though, if they did. I want to see a fleet of buses headed to DC, Delaware, NYC, Martha's Vineyard, Chicago. All these fine places.
