Pretty good, I thought.

Mostly a pretty accurate depiction of Reacher, Neagley makes her way into a story that she wasn't in canonically, so you can see 'em trying, but even there she seems pretty true to the story character.

They're blaming everything on Roe v Wade, same as they were blaming everything on Putin before that, then everything on The Insurrection™ before that/

... I'm fairly sure that Tesla won't give out an RMA for "I'm being a little princess on social media" so yeah, go ahead. You still paid the dude years ago.

Also note how the US is never given credit for ending slavery within it's own borders.

There were quite a few countries that needed the British military to show up to achieve the same.

Ahh, EugenicsBob, always a reliable source for the worst take on any given situation.

Heh, talked about this with one of my friends earlier.

One of the points raised: If the city of Chicago were to rise up in violent, bloody revolution ... would anyone notice?

Sounds like "disinformation" to me!

Most MFA has consisted of a password and a security token—that is, something I know and something I have. The new system provides another, easier form of MFA—specifically, something I have (my phone) and something I am (my fingerprint or face scan).

So now, when Google shadowbans you, it shadowbans your face. I see.

I imagine the guy who did it is one of those bicyclists who take up the entire road

Cue slightly off-topic rant

To be fair I sometimes do this. If the road's too narrow for a car to pass without crushing me into the side, yeah, I'm in the middle, because the drivers down my way don't particularly care if they crush me into the side.

Honestly, who does this Brazilian think he is, concerning himself with the conduct of Brazilian elections?

I'm fairly sure they didn't identify themselves as police, because they were under the suspicion he was a suicide bomber and didn't want to prompt him to set it off.

So yeah, he ran from a bunch of random dudes jumping the turnstiles to come after him. Most would, I should think.

I am. Jean Charles de Menezes, guilty of being Brazilian without a license, penalty was apparently death.

Only because in communist countries the state is subservient to the Party.

Also, what kind of logic is it to advocate for extinction because a bunch of people over there have made different choices to you? NY and CA both have addressed the abortion thing with state-level legislation - as this is supposed to work - but apparently, with the red states no longer under the heel of NY legislation, civilisation as we know it is about to end...

Not really. Cressida Dick's record was a long, drawn-out example of failing upwards.

For instance, that time that Met Police straight-up executed a dude? Guess who was running that gig?

Do you really think they would let their own people be harmed?

It's quite, quite clear from the well-documented testimony that none of the officers or offenders concerned view poor white girls as "their own people" at all.

I think this isn't something you're going to be able to assess properly, Imp, on account of your own ideological blind spots.

Normal police methods

I believe the normal procedure of the British police is to arrest the family members attempting to stop people raping their children and deliver the child back to be raped.

We should probably just force the police to wear pimp gear if that's all that they aspire to be.

Seems like, as far as the USMC is concerned, the correct response is to kick the Marine concerned out of the Corps without even a blink.

Don't bother correcting them or attempting to make them a better Marine, that'll topple even a General. Label them problematic and get 'em a dishonourable discharge - no way that is going to cause problems!
